It is reported that both pilots were able to eject and are in good condition. They were admitted to a hospital for evaluation.
The Hürkuş B was on a test flight from Ankara Mürted/Akıncı, the main production facility of Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI), when the accident occurred. TAI stated that an investigation was ordered, and that the cause of the accident will be determined after the investigation.
