China want a stovl fighter for his type 075 lhd's (they want make a 10 piece of that who can carry 30 aircraft). This days many chineese airforce general comes to turkey for showcase.

And I'm think if we enter this project from this date we can achieve a version of tis baby use a turkish avionics, radar and licenced build engine. Turkish F-35 crisis will be like this.

Step 1 : Replace the older 2 f-4 fleets with 2 fleet f-16 who have almost same weapon and targeting capacity.

Step 2 : Recruit the 2 fleet hürjet fighters be half of f-16's who replaced old f-4's
Step 3 : Enter the Chineese Stovl Stealth Fighter Project who can equipped turkish avionics, radar and licenced build engine.
Step 4 : Make a basic tfx stealth body with all power install him f-16 özgür project aesa radar, mission computer , flight computer and other avionics with internal stealth weapon capacity and own early MMU agints israel and possible greek f-35's
Step 5 : Resarch and develope with a very easy real advanced tfx block 2 who equal the f-22 and pakfa.

Will the Turkish airforce ever have long range bombers in the future?

I would say NO, because nobody would sell such weapons to other countries you have to make it by your own, maybe that's why TuAF wanted F-35's (strategic strike missions).

PS: Beside the US, Russia and China nobody is building and operating long range bombers.
