What more do you need to fight irregular infantry?Still cold war era junks.
Do you know how many soldiers and tanks we lost during Operation Euphrates Shield to irregular infantry? What more do you need to fight irregular infantry?
Any truth to this?
Also the KRG illegaly occupies Kirkuk and many other towns without consent from Baghdad, they can cry wolf all they want, the Iraqi army is allowed to march into kirkuk whenever they want while the peshmerga should have given control months ago back to Baghdad, if this escalates it will be the fault of the kurds but knowing how they love to be stupid they most likely start attacking Iraqi forces and then cry wolf to the west how they are getting "oppressed".
Yes that's the PMU, they overrun a Pesh HQ and Peshmerga ran away, isn't that a hoot
All of this is a small number of PMU elements deciding to overrun KRG area's and it already works, like I said it's far easier than combatting IS.
But Kurds bravest fighters against IS were is the homanity, Arab, Turki and Persians the attacking us.
Serious note, has the US made any comments on Iraq - KGR conflict and will Iraq go further then Kirkuk say Erbil.
Very good. I have a question. What is the weapon that guy is using?US makes statements that point out they are not going to take any sides, they have too much stake in Baghdad/rest of Iraq to lose it for Kurdish interests, why would the US care if the ISF moves into Kirkuk.
I don't think Baghdad wants to go further than area's they deem theirs, but the PMU is a loose cannon and if things kick off who knows what they want to do. Erbil is actually close to current ISF frontlines in Nineveh, might as well let the PMU go for that whilst this kicks off. Qais-Al Khazali (leader of Asai'b ahl al haq PMU faction) always wants to attack the KRG.
This is good opportunity for Turkey to start an operation in Qandil, PKK will now be stretched and try to defend Kirkuk and Qandil at the same time.
ERU (which is SF unit of the federal police) took over PUK offices in Kirkuk
I think this is needed to fix the false image where they portrayed Kurds as brave warriors.
