haha, the author thinks that a country establishes a air dominance before taking out vital military equipment, what an idiot.

NATO didn't just fly to Yugoslavv airspace and started bombing. they took out excisting threats first and then started patrolling.

Easier said then done, Fact is that we just cant keep our eyes closed and act like everything will be all right! If we ever want to be a Dominant Regional Power we should do the exact the opposite what you said. Even China urged to Take more actions against the Syrian unrest. Sorry but killing Civils at our doorstep is an Act of War if you ask me

Okay, but you are talking about military intervention that's like the most radical step which by the way is being enforced from the outside world on us. Besides Turkish armed forces duty is to protect homeland we should just focus to defend ourselves and as long as they dont attack us first we should not attack, that said ofcourse we can take responsiblities as a neigbor but NO to WAR for others. Or else MEHMETCIK will be the one paying with BLOOD! Even 1 of them is too much to sacrefice for those bloody vampires.

Our SOMs (Stand Off Mühimmat-Cruise Missiles) has better range than S300s.... Our Air Force can easily detect Syrian Air Defence Systems via our UAVs or can easily acquire that knowledge from Syrian opposition. After that Our F-16s only need to push a botton to send the missile...

I think Turkey should stay out of this..We have already some internal problems and an economy to boost..We should focus on those..Whats happening in Syria is bad and all but its not our problem..Supporting Arab League is alright but acting alone is meaningless imho

We have seen the ability of Russian Air Defence systems in case of Iraq and Libya. However it was US who was taking them out that time but Turkey also has a very good airforce with large fleet of F-16s plus advance EW system and Syria is not a match for it. First of all the defections are from all branches of the Syrian armed forces and it has affected their operation ability a lot. In case of Syrian Airforce it can not face much superior Turkish Airforce. Moreover most of the Pilots are Sunnis even if they are still serving it will be a great risk for Assad regime to use them or they will defect with their aircrafts. Its a right time that US, NATO and GCC plus Arab nations supportiing syrian peoples revolution must intervene militarily and the brutal killer regime will crumble in days. Example is HOMS city. Despite the relentless n continuous bombing of this besieged city they havent succeded in breaking the will of few hundred ill equipped FSA fighters. I think Insha Allah world is going to see an amazing victory of blood over the guns and tanks.

Turkey is not the USA and most of the pilots are Alawites the entire Military is Alawites. We got Advanced Russian S-300's including more to the arsenal. you can't intervene because Russia and China have VETOED it and will ensure we finish the job. Turkey will lose planes and it will result in Dead Turks.

if Syrian government does commit act of war we can attack them and Russia can't say jackshit. we're not keen on starting a war with someone who already is loosing anyway.

FSA does the job and they do it very good

your alawite air force is a joke to put it that way. couldn't do a damage against Israel and 110% sure your outdated migs wont be a threat to us either. some missile sites here and there, but will be able to take out with cruise missiles. nothing to worry about.
