Turkish Air Force Commander performs IFR on F-16 [PHOTOS]

It is reported that General Akın ÖZTÜRK, TURAF commander flew an F-16 fighter aircraft from Akıncı AB. He has performed air-to-air refueling with KC-135 from 10th Air Refueling Base Command. Media reported he has also inspected the Aegean skies. He has made air refueling at Mersin Province, about 90 kilometers to Syrian border. Gen. ÖZTÜRK was the first Turkish pilot ever to perform air refueling. Back in 1990 when he was a major.
