It is derived from Iveco developed engine. Just Wondering, would it be under Italian license production or TOT for local production?

Unfortunately this is not the case, at first BMC thought so (for v12). A ready-made engine was to be developed, but the plan was dropped as the Italian army chose a different engine for the new tanks. As far as I know they work with the British.
