Turkey test its new naval radar "Çafrad"

Is Turkey working on a Ga-N based Jammer or Ga-N based Fighter Aesa Radar?

Yes
Aselsan is working on GaN based AESA Radar for Fighter Jets

also Aselsan is working on high altitude Early warning Radar which will have capability to detect high altitude long range stealth Bombers such as B-2 and long range Ballistic missiles

Is Turkey working on a Ga-N based Jammer or Ga-N based Fighter Aesa Radar?

Turkey has developed own GaN modules, transistors and chips. To research more about GaN to make serial production, A new facility called ABmicroNano has been established between Bilkent Universty and Aselsan.

Israel are famous due to their Air force... one of the reasons..... Army is battle tested like no other..... I pity you for not giving credit where its due.

Yes israeli army and airforce needs to be credited for their high morale against palestinian civilians. Whole world knows what happened in Lebanon to them with the superior land and airforce facing hezbullah.

Yes. Israel only needed to mobilise a part of their army, 60,000 men. Facing them were 7,000 'terrorist' of Hizbullah.
Isarel had their Airforce and navy. At then end, Israeli troops simply refused to advance, they were literally frightened.

It wasn't Hizbuallah that asked for the ceasefire, it was Israel.

'Battle tested'.

Is Turkey able to export Aesa Radar to a friendly nation Like Pakistan for retrofit onto the F-16 on its own, or would it require US Approval? The Sabr Radar (APG-83) is the planned radar for the F-16V or F-16 Block 70 for India; any information on how the Turkish Radar compares to that radar; T/R Modules, RCS vs Range of detection? Basically could Turkey Retrofit a F-16 to level of the F-16 Block 70, and how much approval from the US would be required to make such an upgrade? (Pakistan should purchase ex-European F-16s when allowed to do so, and hold them in storage until the political winds change, and upgrade them as much as possible)

Turkey is able to export aesa radar to not only Pakistan but who ever it wants. But problem is Radar is not ready. We are currently developing it first aesa radar to aircraft will we used in turkish uav called "Akıncı" then we maybe will see for "HurJet" training aircraft.but for f-16 i dont think it will be ready before 2023-24.most advanced aesa radar will be for TFX turkish 5.gen fighter jet.And tfx will make its first flight in 2026.But Currently Greece modernizating its f16 to block70 viper. We currently have our own f16 modernization program called "Özgür" but it doesnt include aesa radar .If air force want aesa radar then maybe we will have aesa radar for f16 sooner.Time will show.

Like I said Turkish Navy > Israel Navy........ Israel Air force and Army > Turkey Air force and army..... Israel also have the better intelligence agency too.... They are the most battle tested army in the world with high morale.... They spend more on R&d which helps Military too... They have F-35.... F-15....... Hi tech Drones..... etc....

Calm down cowboy Turkish Army and people would shit on the Israeli one, lucky you don’t have a border with us.

Defeating a bunch of Arabs like Egypt, Saudi and Syria is nothing like fighting Turkey, a nation known for its bravery and military tradition.

You shit your pants of some Palestinian teenagers and Iranian militia don’t compare yourselves to the Turks.

Difference is we have those to and without generous US backing and aid. Infact they and you try to hinder our progress with your Kurdish and other clowns.

Why do you people need to bring in other countries everytime the topic is Turkey? Are you this butthurt that you have to compare other countries to us always? The topic are new radars for the Turkish Navy and some butthurt monkey brings in Israel without any context.

Not everyone, Arabs, Indians and Israelis, former colonies or nations who are in bed with US.

So why didn't they take Qudus back, good stories.

2023 is only 5 years away. As the TFX starts to be built and procured and the F-35s arrive, does Turkey plan to retire F-16s in large numbers? If/When Turkey plans to retire about 94 of its oldest F-16s (39% out of the 242 F-16s in the TuAF fleet), it could put them through structural rebuild, upgrade them to the Ozgur standard and add in the Aesa radar, and then sell them to Pakistan. The PAF could simultaneously upgrade its current 76 F-16 to the same standard and operate these planes until they can afford to field something better; like TFX. This would give the PAF 10 Squadrans (170) of F-16s. Eventually the older JF-17s could inherit certain sub-systems from the F-16s when they finally age out, retaining the capability while transitioning to an indigenous platform for those capabilities. 170 Ozgur F-16s and 250 Modernized JF-17s would make up a lean and mean 25 Squadron Fighter Force into the 2030s. The Gripen has shown that Sub-Systems inside an agile platform can still hold their own in the modern battlefield. The PAF and Turkish Industry should consider a deal like this. Its win win for both nations.

F-16 retirenments starts from 2030.Turkey can upgrade pakistan f16s but will usa let it happen?. But this modernization also can be applied to jf17 w,th little modification. Maybe jf17 block 4 or block3.2 will use turkish radar and mission computer who know. And özgür project is just beggining. If TFX success then we can see more advanced moderniation program.TFX will be 5.gen fighter So TFX avionics can be used in f16 or JF17.

.
So TFX avionics can be used in f16 or JF17

depending on size/space and money..

I really hope we will get some major steps done in tfx like chosing an engine

Pakistan and Turkey should ink a deal to establish a partnership over TF-X program to share risks and costs. When It is completed, I think Two state will be able to have a very strong deterrence to export such a game changer product to any part of the World. In addition, TF-X is the name of independence of Muslim states and industrial revolution for our states. It is told by Tahirov that Azerbaijan is also keen on join into TF-X project. It is believed that Qatar will be the major costumer/partner of this program. If We get a few more Muslim state inside of that program (Indonesia or Malaysia), It may be certain that the number of Tf-X to be produced will exceed more than 500 units.

I think that TF-X will easily be produced in more than 500 units as a lot of Muslim countries will buy it since it will be a cutting-edge weapon from a trusted supplier.

If Turkey can afford the upfront development costs, it should go it alone and not go into any partnerships, as that will only slow the project and potentially end up with an inferior aircraft. No offence to Pakistan but they have nothing to offer technically on the project as Turkey is way ahead on every single tech on the project.
