Our country is diverse!

Well dude,a black/Mexican speaking turkish wont make him a Turk but the reason why Turkey and all the Kazak,Turkmen,AzerBaijan share an ethos is because of language but the distance is too far to maintain any similar ethnicity and also lot of invasions from the east.

You can read about Pan-Turkism just like Pan-Arabism,both are linguistic and not ethnic unions.

I didn't talk about Aryan-Dravidian first,he did and i told him that coming from the deep south india, even i have R1A1,just to say it doesn't matter.

I am never disputing that Pakistani society is influenced by persian/turkish culture/food.

I didn't say that Hazaras are the only Mongloid people,he said it.read it again dude.

My opinion is different,i feel people generally take the culture and identity of the father. It could so happen that the father married a mongloid woman,as in the mother and u wud still call urself what ur father is but the fact if u also have ur mom's blood and that ll influence ur looks. That way a lot of people can have mongloid blood and nusrat saab is a strong example of that, whereas his brother Farukh and nephew Rahat dont have the same thing.

Thats why i said, when people say Turk blood, there is no such thing as Turk blood.

U spoke about a lot of food being from Iran, what u forget is most Indian upper castes are also from Iran,Sanskrit is from Iran and most people of the Indian sub continent came from Iran,so whats the big deal now and i dont think any informed Indian would say it is theirs?

I am from south-india and we eat rice cakes called Idlis,i read sometime back that it actually came from Indonesia which is not far from my place and the funny thing is they dont eat that in Indonesia anymore and USA was trying to patent the Basmati Rice, wtf!!!

regarding being closer to your western neighbours,i think it is true for KPK and other states but ur Punjabis and Sindhis are the same as ours,no difference at all.Nothing,Zukk.

That way India has too many cultures, things change every 200 km.

so,whats the point now?

Pakistani punjab is diverse... pashtun, baluch, turk, dard, persian, arabic all kind of people can be found there who r assimilated into the punjabi culture... and india has only 3% punjabis and sindh itself is diverse... full of people from other countries tht inherit the land now... while india has no sindhi or sindhi population... sindhi population doesnt even make .1% of india..

There are enough Punjabis and Sindhis in India. When u say Punjabi, here there are 3 states,Punjab,Haryana and Himachal Pradesh,Rajasthan and Western Uttar Pradesh along with Delhi are mostly the same people.

That way no individual group ll make a big percentage of Indian Population.Nowadays,we just have North India and South India and thats broadly true and East India is a little different, thats all.

Even though in reality culture changes every 300 km.

3% of Indian population is a lot of people man.

Pakistani Punjab may be diverse, but only Jatt,Gujjar,Rajput,Aheers are the real people of the land.Rest may be living there just like today where lot of UP people live in Chandigarh, but that wont make them punjabis. In India people clearly say I am not Punjabi,i am baniya.Even though there are proper punjabi baniya also.

Except punjab none r punjabis... haryanvis, rajhisthanis,UP people r not punjabis or sindhis their languages r similiar to hindi just a lil different in pronounciation...

U have to understand the demographics of Pakistani punjab.. though jats, rajputs, gujjars r the same as in indian punjab.. there r other "koums" tht are not native to the land.. who came with various tides of foriegners...than we have overlapping ethnic groups tht make a sizeable population of punjab... than we have cultural changes... its too complicated my friend.

Dude,Haryana was a part of Punjab and lot of Muslims used to live there who then migrated to Pakistan. The Jaats of Haryana are pretty much the same as Punjabis and their language is also the same,Same with Western UP.Like someone said,it is complicated.

come up with facts man... its like sayin tht a fair complexion dravidian has european ancestory!

hazaras have mongol blood bcoz they r the descendants of the mongol soldiers who invade afghanistan.

Correct that Hazaras have Mongol/Turkic DNA but that is not because of Ghenghis Khan's army. Turko-Mongol people had been migrating out of the Altai mountains since the 6th Centuary AD. When Persians invaded the Hazaras got persianized so they
speak Dari an Iranic language instead of a Turkic language.

Turkey approves deal for training Pakistani, Afghan military

Parliament last week approved a protocol concerning the training of Afghan and Pakistani military personnel.

The governments of Turkey, Pakistan and Afghanistan, emphasizing their desire to improve relations and cooperation in the field of security, signed the protocol on mutual exercises and training courses of military personnel in İstanbul on Nov. 1, 2011, with Law No. 3119.

The protocol was published in the Official Gazette on May 10, 2012.

According to Article 1 of the protocol, the purpose of the protocol is to promote mutual relations and cooperation between the military of the three countries, and to enhance such cooperation in the areas of exercises and training courses.

The protocol binds military personnel, members of the armed forces from all three countries, to take part in further training and cooperation.

Article 4 of the protocol states that the three countries should cooperate in various fields, including combined special forces exercises, counterterrorism courses, combined natural disaster search and rescue exercises, tactical operation courses for dealing with improvised explosive devices, military training and capacity building as well as mid and high-level seminars on various other topics.

According to Article 8, the protocol does not affect the rights and responsibilities arising from any other international agreements that the three countries may have previously concluded.

The protocol was signed by Pakistani Army Chief Gen. Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, his Turkish counterpart, Gen. Necdet Özel, and Afghan Lt. Gen. Sher Mohammad Karimi on the conclusion of a trilateral summit hosted by Turkish President Abdullah Gül in İstanbul on Nov. 1, 2011, which was organized to reduce tensions between the two neighboring countries.

President Gül told reporters last November that Pakistan and Afghanistan had agreed to establish a joint mechanism for investigating the assassination of High Peace Council chief and former President Burhanuddin Rabbani, in order to establish the truth of what happened. The Turkish president said terrorism remained a key challenge and hurdle to peace and stability in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

The trilateral summit between Turkey, Pakistan and Afghanistan came at a “critical” time due to the increasing tensions between Afghanistan and Pakistan.

The presidents of Pakistan and Afghanistan said last November that they hoped the trilateral summit between the two countries and Turkey would lead to a reduction of recently inflamed tensions.

Afghan-Pakistani relations remain strained after both accused the other of supporting terrorist attacks and activities in their respective countries. Afghanistan also has accused the Pakistani intelligence agency of involvement in the recent assassination of Rabbani. Afghan President Hamid Karzai, calling the trilateral summit a significant move in the right direction, said: “The unfortunate assassination of Rabbani has thrown the entire [peace] exercise into difficulty. It was almost the end of negotiations.”
