Turkish people thought just like you in 1950's when Marshall dollars came to Turkey. They thought US send us this money because they liked us... But we both know this is not true...

I am not pushing for anything... as you can see @My-Analogous write about some highways that China builded for you and he said Pakistan's relations with China is ''unique'' and I anwered him. Did I hit a nerve? Why did that bother you?
Anyway, I dont wanna be rude but some of you guys really believe China feels affection towards you. I do understand why some of you feels with this way, but I will speak the truth. Even if you dont like the truth.

You haven't hit any nerve but you seem to be making unsubstantiated assertions regarding the nature of the relationship between China and Pakistan.
Our friendship goes back to a time when China didn't have anyone to call a friend and didn't have two renminbi to rub together. Back then it was us that helped the Chinese in their time of need. The Sino Pak friendship is long-term and built on shared geo strategic considerations and to that end we are very much aligned. The Chinese have never forgotten that we were a friend indeed at a time when we were very firmly in the American camp and China had very little to offer us. Now that their circumstances, and ours, have changed we are carrying on the relationship in the same spirit of mutual friendship and cooperation.
If you have a little context of the history of our relationship, your accusations of naivety become worthless and laughable.

After China, we Pakistanis are emotionally attach with Turkey too. It's good if turkey joins us. I think Pakistan should help turkey to join China strategically which we trying from backdoor diplomacy.

We are in favour of CPEC, OBOR and another silk road from turkey to Pakistan via Iran.

Our defense cooperation with China will advance on the needs of Pakistan. Russia is in pole position for about strategic collobrations. They are very enthusiastic(of course, creating a hole in NATO has big benefits) and the Russian authorities are always shows theirs willings at these days.

But I do not foresee such a transition. Aside from the political issues, there are great technical difficulties and preparations that may take more than 10 years. Turkey actively continue its military operations in more than 3 country and its region has many other great risks. The Turkish army has to maintain its power without interruption. So here the expectation of sudden transitions is very pointless.

Turkish defense industry's main purpose is completing its vertical specialization in 15-20 years. Currently, apart from private enterprises, state companies and science organizations have more than 500 projects on subsystems and materials technologies.

Thus, Turkey will not sever its ties with the West. but gradually, it will have much better relations with Russia and China. My personal opinion, Turkey pursuit of new initiatives and perspectives. It may not seem to be very important today, but it is necessary to pay special attention to the form of relations with countries such as Qatar, Malaysia and Pakistan in the next 10 years. The idea of D-8 can be revived more powerfully, ofc within another form.
