Turkey has the youngest population in Europe by median age, according to latest Eurostat figures.

Having a median age of 29.7, Turkey ranks first in the Old Continent while EU-27 population stands at an average age of 41.5. The share of the oldest segment of the population aged over 80 is 1.4 percent in Turkey as opposed to EU’s 4.9 percent.

Turkey’s young, urban, and well-educated population of about 75 million people with increasing purchasing power is considered the backbone of the country’s expanding economy and one of the main points of attraction for multinational companies looking for growth markets

Saw same thread in another forum few days back. Are you in Historum by any chance?

Btw, 29 years isn't exactly "young" ....

@Sinan

What is the brith rate for ethnic Kurds? and ethnic turks?

I read (varius source) that says ethnic Kurds have more babies than the turks.

Turks are more educated and wealthy tend to have 1 or 2 kids,

but the Kurdish women not very educated and are very poor, usually have more than 4-5 kids.

Albania, Kosovo, Bosnia...

PS, Turkey isn't in the Europe.

It lies on the Euro-Asian plate.....

I think France alone has a bigger muslim population than Albania, Kosovo, Bosnia combined

Islamic Emirate of France?

Exactly true.

So, what is the birth rate for ethnic kurds? much much higher than turks?

Is it true, that ethnic turk s fertality rate is 1.5?

I've read a lot about this, and most sources say by 2050 kurds will be close to 50% of Turkey? might even become majority.

What is the long term strategy for the Turkish government? To make peace with the Kurds?

Well, Erdogan is aware of this problem and he always says whereever he goes, he says "Make 3 children". Besides that i don't know is they have strategy or not. But i don't think Turks will ever let Kurds became the Majority.

We can be pretty brutal, at the time of needs.... If you know what i mean.
