Turkey freezes all ties with France

Yeah lets talk about Armenian Genocide .............

No doubt, it is not an enjoyable situation. Especially French Parliament made a decision in 2001 concerning Armenians and claimed that 1915 incidents constitute genocide despite sharp reactions of Turkey.
Barnier told Algeria to make a common effort to search history "in order to establish a common future and overcome the sad pages". Giving interview to El Vatan, an Algerian newspaper, Barnier said that "Historians from two sides must be encouraged to work together. They must work on the common past". For Barnier, this case, of course, is a method that can only be applied for Algerians!
Perhaps Barnier does not know Algerian genocide as good as Armenian issue! Otherwise he would have immediately passed a genocide act from France Parliament. Perhaps if his interest area in France was French voters in Algerian origin he would have done this...
In 8 May 1945, France army had organized air and land attacks to northern Algeria, mainly to Setif and Guelma cities in order to repress popular demonstrations against France there. While Algerian government claimed that around 45.000 Algerians were killed in the repression which continued for few days, French politicians argued that the number of people who were killed is around 20.000. While French politicians remained in silence against allegations since 1962 in which Algeria gained independence, the first statement towards the recognition of massacres comes this year from French Ambassador in Algeria. Ambassador Hubert Colin de Verdiere visited to Setif on February in order to commemorate those who were killed in massacres and said that Setif massacre is an "unforgiving tragedy". The Ministry of Foreign Affairs Barnier reminded that Ambassador's statement is the French observation and this demonstrated that France has given importance to "memory workings" in relations with Algeria which is a brother country.
Addressing to nation in Setif in commemoration ceremonies of 60'th anniversary of massacres, Algerian President Abdülaziz Buteflika said that Algerian people expects from France to take more concrete steps rather than made these remarks. In his statement Buteflika reminded that while Europeans celebrated the victory against Nazi Germany in 8 May 1945, French killed Algerians who went to street for the independence. "Courageous Algerian soldiers faced with French fire when they returned to Algeria from European and African fronts in which they defended the interest and honor of France" he said.
While in Algeria it was organized the commemoration ceremonies in weekend, Algerians who live in France also rallied in Paris. Bertrand Delanoe, Paris Mayor said that 8 May is "an anniversary of another barbarism" and that he hoped that France undertakes its responsibility.
Didier Billion, Deputy President of Paris-based The Institute for Strategic and International Relations pointed out that none of French Presidents made an official apology for incidents in Algeria so far. He referred to French silence against allegations and said that "Algeria is our taboo".
Another issue against which French government remained in silence is Rwanda genocide in which more than 800 thousand people were killed. France has not accepted the claims that French soldiers in the region had responsibility in genocide committed in Rwanda in 1994. Finally, in last month an ex-French military officer who was formerly in Rwanda admitted that French soldiers had provided military training to civil militants of Hutus who are accused to commit genocide. Thierry Prungnaud, former Deputy Commander of National Gendarmerie Intervention Group who was in the region to provide military training the guards of Rwanda Presidency in 1992 said in France-Culture, an official radio that he saw French soldiers giving fire-arms training civil Rwandan militiamen in 1992 and this training had continued until 1994.
On the other hand in February, six Rwandans citizens applied to Paris Military Court on the ground that French soldiers are ""accomplice" in genocide committed in 1994. It is reported that it will take a long time for the Military Court which is the only judicial body to have jurisdiction right to judge French soldiers on duty to deal with the file.
Meanwhile Amar Bakhouche, the speaker of the Algerian Senate said in AB Haber.com that France insisted not to apologize for Algerians who were killed in 8 May 1945, “France firstly must clean in front of his own house. Armenian genocide allegations have claimed against Turkey as an excuse. A Muslim population is not wanted in the EU". "These things committed by Frances are called "genocide", but they have been tried to be described in another manner in France" he said.
Saying that "1.5 million Algerians were killed by colonists in the years in which Algeria struggled for independence", Amar Bakhouche pointed out that, France has not apologized to Algeria despite all efforts

1.5 million Algerians were killed by French colonists

...God knows what other atrocities have been committed in Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya

Talk about hypocrisy at its best. A different time and ere and a different political state, France demands Turkey apologies on the Armeinian GEnocide ? WHilst had commited the same kind of acts in the Middleeast, AFrica and on its very soil in the 20th century with the same kind of state.

Paris massacre of 1961 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

France needs to be bombed back to the stone age just like Iraq and Libya was. This is truly a WAR against Muslims

Well buddy, most of the contribution in Islamic World in the field of science, mathematics, literature are from Iranians instead of conquering lands. Even the Turks who founded Islamic Dynasties in India used to speak and study Persian language because it had rich literature and they made it court language
.

Well Buddy just as Indian had stolen every knowledge from the Muslim and claimed it as its owned.
I guess Trolling is part of your culture in India, not to mention poking on others peoples businesses.

You didnt wanted Israeli fake friendship now French, what is next? German? American?

...and your point ? WHO needs back stabbers, control freaks, psychopaths, criminals and such anyway, AS long as Turkey has Pakistan and China .

Bro this photo has taken this morning. Iran always support Armenia against Azerbaijan. This is not a new move. Islamic Republic called Iran played along with Christians against Muslims for centuries. Iran have not fought for Islam in history and today they are behaving like protectors of Muslims for protect their azz, they are using Hamas and civilians as a shield. Last week 300 Muslim killed on Syria. While only %15 of Syrians are Shia/Alavi, why do they want still rule to Syria with killing innocent civilians? This is an easy Imperialist tactic for don't lose to control on their colonies. Who did choose to Assad family? Syrian people? I say FRANCE. They bring a minority to government, if minority behaves against their benefits, it is easy to kick them out.
Same scenario.

I would not make word by word reply on your comments. But would request you to read more on what is going on behind the scene. This is not the time or context to join Shia sunni divide as US and house of Saud had set up. There is much bigger enemy lurking behind Turkey. If French episode did not reveal anything for turkey then one as a well wishers of Turkey has to say Fe amanillah.

This is not the matter but Turks also used to Arabic and today there are more Turkish word in Persian than Persian words which in Turkish.
and made Shia Iran's national religion for their own benefits. Today they do nothing for Islam except supporting Shias. Who cares how many did Muslim killed in Syria? Who did choose to Assad? Give me an answer.

"The population of Syria is 74% Sunni Muslim, with a 13% Shia Muslim population, 10% Christian and 3% Druze"

Don't you see there is also instigation from external elements on Syrian unrest? I hope you do not ask for proof because there are plenty. Change in Syria does not have to happen to fulfill western agenda. Rather these changes needed for benefit of ordinary people. While you talk about ordinary Syrians, their anger, street power and cause had been hijacked by US-Saudi and NATO for regime change. And Turkey throwing its weight behind US-Saudi and NATO game will not help Turkey in the long term. That at the end will not help people of Syria either. Please go read more and understand.

On the topic:
If Turkey really wants to punish French and prevent future hostility from EU then it has to pull the chain bit further. That is make Saudi and GCC cancel airbus and other expansive deals with France and EU. Saudi and GCC can buy alternative products from Boeing and elsewhere. That will make France and EU stand up and take notice. Otherwise, all these noise at the end will not make MUCH impact.

. . . .
Israel wanted to play tough guy. Attacking to a civilian Turkish flag ship on international waters ended this fake friendship. While only Islamists hate, today all of Turks hate Israel.
It was not Turkish flag ship. Erdogan tried to create provocation in many ways and finally he acheved it.

what has freezing relations ever achieved? it just widens the gap . if you have a problem you just keep at it and explain to the other side your point of view.
some countries how ever behave like children , refusing to talk . (don't mean turkey though )
I guess they mean military tries. Turkey cant afford freezing economic ties with France.

Can you say same thing for Mubarek? Egypt was best ally of Israel and USA in middle east. How can you say that usa makes every regime change? Iran was best ally of Usa then regime changed today they are enemies. Do you think that Usa did it? It's sad but it's like a plague in Muslims to search USA behind every incident.

Watch all of videos if you can. Do you think that all of children are CIA agents?

Suriyedeki

That is the problem, you are looking at all uprisings in same scale, cause, and motivation. That is not so. Egypt uprising was spontaneous. West after repeated try could not hijack it. Instead West has hijacked ruling military council. Get your fact straight.

In case of Syria, uprising was hijacked by west so was in case of Libya.

Your understanding of geo politics is no way in touch with real situation, unless you gain more knowledge on situation there is no point having discussion with you.

. . .
When was this visit took place?

The way Turkey acted and acting on Syria because of Saudi influence and money, it would be natural reaction for Iran to pay in same coin. That is pure geo politics. Turkish govt policy lost the broader acceptance (that was gained previously) in Muslim world when they sided with Saudi-US game plan on Shia-Sunni divide.

when did Turkiye do that? :what:

I think the Turks have been playing it very cooly and smartly, as far as regional engagements are concerned. Our "leaders" ought to learn from them.

such as?

And stop bringing Iran into this. wtf is your problem? Armenian are our brothers and have been for 2500 years. We were one country and one people until religion started dividing us thousands of years ago. Since then, we have remained friends and allies for much of the time. We respect each other. What's the matter with that?

Why are you making it an Islam vs Christianity thing you retarded ape?
