Turkey envoy urges India to close Fethullah institutions in Mumbai, linked to military coup

I hate his decision when he used veto and elected Nehru as Prime Minister when Congress wants Sardar Patel to be PM ......... India would have been a different country if we have Sardar as our first Pm instead of Nehru

This is off topic on this thread but i thought this needed to be answered. @Nair saab being the short fuse that he is, would not explain this to you.
Gandhi, father of our nation, doesn't get support from all quarters in our country, which includes me.
He faced criticism even while he was alive, for example when he did not object to the execution of several Indian freedom fighters by the British government despite that being a time when his influence was such that he likely could have saved their lives. While Gandhi supported Nehru through thick and thin, likes of Subhash Chandra bose were ignored.
So was it really Gandhi who forced britishers to quit India?
We do know that freedom movement had begun much before Gandhi was born. He was lucky to have been at the right time at the right place. Add to it the fact that some of his movements were great disasters.
Had it not been for the 2nd world war and its repercussions on Britishers, India would not have got freedom in 1947.
His stubbornness, his messed up personal life earned him our ire... or so i think.
The only thing which earns him my respect is the fact that he was the impetus behind hindu and muslim unity in the subcontinent.
We Indians are a bunch of opinionated people, so we consider it okay to criticize things we dislike, which can be anything from our food to our father of the nation. So dont be surprised.

We should take strict action against such groups if the evidences provided by turkey are true ( this should be investigated by Indian agencies )

Look I Dont like discussing the political differences with Pakistanis ... But yeah I am a Short Fuse when I am online...

There are Topic Ranging on many issue on which I dont agree with him infact on most of all his political decisions... Congress Literally made him Like Jesus...

I dont find any Difference between a Evangelical Christian who say to a Non-christian "You Fool Jesus Died for your Sins" and a Congressi who Say to a Mahatma Gandi critic " You fool He gave his life for your freedom" .

Neither I think He did something great for Nations freedom struggle ... He may be role model for the western and Indian Leftist Academics but for me he is just one of the Leader of Freedom movement who is over rated unlike others...

But this thread is not meant for that discussion ... Thats why I didnt reply the Pakistani Troll... But Obviously Mr. Joe Shearer who is the smartest Think Tank in PDF decided to thank the troll to which I questioned him, then he began to spread his wisdom ...

Any ways let me put it straight... Mahatma Gandi is not my Father of the Nation...

How do you expect to put your views across if you speak to them in wrong tone?

There is a Jan Sangh story that Feroze Gandhi was actually a Muslim named Feroze Khan. According to this thoroughly ugly story, he changed his name to a Hindu name in order to marry Indira Nehru, as she then was, and changed it to Gandhi, to resemble the name of Mohandas Gandhi, Mahatma Gandhi.

That is what these two are referring to.

I know several Parsis who knew Feroze Gandhi's family. This is a horribly defamatory story kept alive only by dedicated Sanghis, who spread really foul stories about their political opponents.
I belong to area where rss has too much influence but never heard such stories.
I heard what is written on wikipedia of Feroze Gandhi & Gandhis are using surname for political porpuse to show they Belong to MK Gandhi.

Obviously, NIA must investigate the issue & should take action required & which are in our laws.

I will not call any one stupid.
But I am surprised to see your country mate calling Gandhi as "Gandi" which in my eyes is pretty insulting .....
Some people even can't organize people more than their fingers in hands are just are butt hurts to see that a skinny weak man lead entire nation for a peaceful protest despite British brutality against them.
Well, I am not agree with my Parents & Grandfather-mother but does not mean I didn't respect them.
Any how, I have reported his post. You Indians are strange people, abusing your own Father of Nation :tsk:
Well, there is no blasphemy law against such act, so we have only option to lashed him out.
Gandhi Ji was not Good Diplomat or Politician but he is such human being who born after Centuries.

Between the two Gandhi by a wide margin.Obviously.
One of the main criticisms of Gandhi was that he supported Nehru over many others arguably more capable - the likes of Sardar Patel.

Can't say about other Indians but on my list Vallabh bhai Patel, Bose, Bhagat Singh rank above Gandhi and Nehru.

You dont know much about geo-politics do you?
Do you know why Turkiye has objections to India joining the NSG?
Turkiye wants both India and Pakistan in together at the same time to have a bigger chance of peace between the two countries, did you know this?
BTW please provide any valid reason to ban a very well recognized institution other than some political vendetta by politicians in some far away middle east (?) country
