March 25, 2011:
A week long Trilateral Joint Military Exercise among Forces of Turkey-Afghanistan-Pakistan commenced at Tuzla, Turkey. Three countries decided to hold joint exercises at the conclusion of the 5th Trilateral Summit in December 2010.

The joint Exercise involves military operations in urban terrain (MOUT) against terrorists. The events include basic and battle order training, MOUT demonstration by the Turkish army, combat order, training controls, fighting in built up and handmade explosives training sessions.

Specialist teams of three countries comprising sniper and anti tank detachments are undergoing this exercise. The purpose of this training is to share military knowledge, to reinforce and maintain coordination among the three countries.

It is pertinent to mention here that this is the first time that a Trilateral Exercise among the three countries is being conducted on the Turkish soil .It will play a pivotal role in cementing close military ties between the countries in the realm of combating the menace of terrorism and extremism being spearheaded by the inimical forces.

Pakistan should have nothing to do with afghans.

Afghans are our brothers regardless of the feeling or tension that may exist between a minority of the people, i recently have interacted with a lot of Afghan Pashtuns/Tajiks and have spoken about politics with them a great deal most don't blame Pakistan but have complained about the government policies/ISI or the police which are the same complaint us Pakistanis have and most that i've met infact absolutely curse their leaders for the situation that Afghanistan finds itself in. As brothers along with Iranian and Turkish co-operation we must help them get back on their feet so that they can provide us with a stable western border which is absolutely imperative if Pakistan wants to become a sucessful nation.

It would have been great if Iran would have been invited along with the other three nations.

why "must" we help afghans? afghans should help themselves.

afghans are not my brothers.they are racist ungrateful hypocrites.(i dont care if they are muslims or not).

the afghani pashtuns are the worst.

the only ppl in pakistan who have similarities with afghans are pashtuns. the rest of pakistan really does not have much in common with afghans.

. .
why do pakistanis always have to live in a delusion that all muslims around the world are our brothers.they are not our brothers.we should put pakistan first.

because this sentiment is shared among other Muslims too. appart from sharing the relgion and customs we are also human. hence if some one from far off places in Europe can contribute in help with desaster recovery then why not we? we are neighbours too

you are trolling unfortunately you are derailing the thread and also factually very wrong
its not just Pashtons who share language with the Afghans. I don’t think you met enough Afghans at all. their other major language is Persian which has made its impression as far as India.
we share the culture, the music the custom the food and has an Afghan imprint in our own version of customs and life style.

Coming back to the topic, this is a very good step participating in join exercises as it helps build up professional contacts and military relations relating to regional security and war against the terrorism.

To counter this terrorism we have close contacts with Indians which might not include join exercises but we share information to counter any situation created by terrorists that can escalate into an all out war.

Your comments are ill thought , immature and insensitive. Afghan are a proud nation and deserve a lot of respect for their endurance and resilience. We cant even imagine the kind of hardship they have endeavoured.

Keeping them close and building economic and military ties with Afghans will help us in securing our own borders from the west. Its rather they sit with us than the Indians. Turkey deserves great applause for setting up this exercise. It might be just symbolic but it paves the way for a lot of other things that bring the nations together.

how many ppl in pakistan speak or understand dari/persian?

those so called customs you speak of are shared between all muslims, not just between pakistanis and afghans.

dont lecture people in such a hypocritical and insensitive manner if you want to be taken seriously sir.

what i said is nothing major compared to how afghans speak about pakistan and punjabis.

.

significant number, if you consider Balochi Hazara to be Pakistani then there is news for you, that they speak Persian. It has been a language of elegance & prestige among people who could read and write hence Persian was spoken and written by our leaders like Alama Iqbal. I think I have said enough.
there is nothing wrong with that, not sure why you purposefully ignored Pashto. It’s the second most spoken regional language in Pakistan after Punjabi. look beyond yourself my dear and don’t be so short sighted. Our Urdu has borrowed a lot from Persian too.

by the way, how much in common does a Pakistani have with a Turk? do you want us to stop all relationships with them? be consistant here will you? you got complaints then Afghans have complaints too. lets get over them and deal with them like men and find a solution.

.
I have to politely ask people to realise what they are taking about. On the contrary, its you who is being insensitive here please don’t be so brass in stealing my own words.
By the way I don’t lecture at all. But I think you are not representing a Pakistani that I know and I have to put the record straight anyway its all about free will, you said what you said and I said what I feel there is no pressure on anyone
you go your bigoted way if you please but this view of yours is definitely not shared by me and many of us.

what i said is nothing major compared to how afghans speak about pakistan and punjabis

then why imitate them? why copy the hate with hate? the Afghans you are pointing at are just the Afghan version of yourself to put it mildly.
I think you are pointing at the Tajiks who are channelling their anger at us due to what they have suffered at the hands of the Taliban due to our past support for them. well that is only a natural reaction but lets not generalise it on every one shall we?

And like I said earlier. I rather have Afghans with me than see them with forces that are hostile to Pakistan. We don’t cant live in a shell. We have neighbours and it’s a reality that we got to deal with them. If that dealing is in a friendly terms then nothing like it.

Take your hate somewhere else. I would commend Turkey for arranging this exercise and would expect it a common feature. You are not only insulting Afghans but also Turkey.

No more hate post from you ok? Otherwise I will start reporting it.
Enough already
