Syria's situation is totally different from Turkey's. Syria is in a full blown civil war now for over 5 years where several forreoign powers and fighters are involved, and most of all the international community + P5 powers + UNSC have all passed a resolution calling for foreign intervention in Syria to eliminate the threat of militants/terrorists BY ALL MEANS NECESSARY. So any power who can afford it is free to intervene in Syria today. Hence violation of syria's airspace is invalid/mute.

When the Turkey shot down the SU-24 last time, all the Russians and their puppets claimed over and over that the SU-24 never entered Turkish airspace and It is Turkey's fault.
