Yes they said it but they said many other things but Imran said one thing he has stood on that their is no military solution to this problem he said in 2003 when Army was going in on USA orders and he said they will get stuck and their will be brutal reaction but no body listened but than when reaction came every body was crying he said from day one don't mess in this area

No, people of Pakistan are no pro-talk. Ask the government to go for a nation-wide referendum, and than you will know what Pakistanis want. This democracy is a 'puncture' democracy, which has no legitimacy whatsoever.

There is no economical issue here. If Nawaz and Imran can spend money on useless projects such as Metro, they might as well direct the cash flow towards curbing the terrorism. Problem is, there are no kick backs in that.

I know that freedom is priceless. If SriLanka could fight LTTE for 2 decades, and finally eradicated it, we are in much better shape, both militarily, and economically.

As much as I respect Imran Khan for his other views (e.g., social democracy), I cringe every time he makes these silly comments about the TTP.
