Turkey didnt close Incirlik in 1975 but closed US bases in Turkey. Incirlik is a NATO base and there is a difference between them.

in 1975 Turkey kicked around 5.000 American personnel and equipment out of our 21 bases including INCIRLIK
but INCIRLIK Air Base was prevented from being used exclusively by the US, but kept open to NATO

Turkey rebuffs U.S. offer for Patriot systems
The United States will deliver two F-35 fighter jets to Turkey next month, Reuters reported the chairman of Turkey's Defence Industry Directorate as saying on Wednesday on pro-government news channel NTV,

Turkey ordered more than 100 F-35 new generation fighter jets and so far has taken none to Turkey. Turkish pilots have been trained in the U.S. for the F-35s.

On Friday, U.S. President Donald Trump signed a spending bill that includes blocking transfers of F-35s to Turkey until November 1st, 2019 to give a plenty of time to see if the Russian S-400 air defense system will be delivered to Turkey. The U.S. officials have publicly declared that the U.S. cannot deliver F-35s to Turkey in case of Turkey going ahead receiving the S-400s from Russia due to worries that F-35s' sensitive data might be gathered by the Russian radars.

According to the same interview, Demir also ruled out the American Patriot defense systems as it currently stands.

Erdoğan, in a speech on Monday repeated three conditions for the purchase of the Patriots: technology transfer, co-production and financial support.

President Trump last Friday nominated David Satterfield as the new ambassador for Ankara post. Satterfield will face confirmation hearings at the Hill. It is expected many of the thorny issues between countries from the Syrian Kurdish issue to extradition of cleric Fethullah Gülen will be discussed during the hearings.

We are fighting with the US in Syria , not with Russia
We easly can stop Russia in Syria , Russia can not fight with Turkey for Pkk/Ypg terrorists

Turkey has already gotten the most important thing from the F-35 Program: the technology its military industry developed for it. Acquiring the jets in the expected quantities will give the Turkish Airforce hard capability, which is much less important than the technology which was developed. If the S-400 gives Turkish industry newer technologies, it is worth much more than a hundred F-35s. If the F-35 doesn't come then Turkey becomes a possibly major customer and development partner for one of the two European programs. The Tempest and the FCAS can both expect major Turkish cash infusion of billions of dollars for R&D and procurement if they offer a partnership to Turkey. The best thing that the Europeans can hope for atm is Turkey pulling out of the F-35 program.

The Americans pulling the plug on T-70 and F-35 hardly makes any difference to Turkey in 2019.

Seems you and Erdoğan got things wrong.

It is Turkey that needs NATO and the US , and not the other way around. As you like to pretend.

The main reason Turkey joined NATO was to ward off Soviet Union take over in the middle east. Now Erdoğan thinks the Russians are his bodies , that he he would risk loosing his allies ? And who would he go for support when he need it ?
