Tribal Gathering in Kabul Calls for United Front Against Pakistan's Aggressions

Speakers at a gathering of tribal councils in Kabul on Friday issued a call to action, urging all Afghans to stand united against Pakistan's destabilizing tactics and continued support of the Taliban insurgency inside Afghanistan.

The event comes after weeks of heightened violence, particularly on the streets of Kabul, as Taliban leaders based in Pakistan have been able to push a wave of suicide bombings. In just one week, over 50 Afghan civilians have been killed and hundreds more wounded in the capital.

"In light of the situation, the people must be united against the policies of Pakistan, a country which is harboring terrorist groups," MP Gul Pacha Majidi said on Friday. "People must be ready to defend their country," he added.

Afghanis are acting like they were living in a peaceful country and suddenly they have security issues, can they tell us actually when they were peaceful in their history. Kindly throw the three million afghanis back to Afghanistan, hopefully their new found friend India can extend the same hospitality towards their afghan brothers.

Ok i will make it even simpler for you,will you say a movie is directors or a camarman's movie,you can argue a film is not possible with out the cameraman or a lightman,but the move will come out the way the director wants it be.

Pakistan was not only the camera man but also the actors in the movie. Our army men fought alongside mujahideen. If there was no pakistan then there would have been no stopping soviet advances and they wouldnt have stopped at afghanistan and you know that very well. When the soviets were stopped in afghanistan and their stay was made impossible over time only then did they show weakness and they weakened and the cold war swinged in usa's favour

I totally don't get this -- I remember a child in the family come home to an elder the other day and say she got verbally beat up by her Afghan classmate about how evil Pakistan is and how great Afghanistan is -- the elder (himself a Pashtun from Sawat) responded: "Afghanistan koi Switzerland to nahin hay" (but, Afghanistan is no Switzerland) -- lol

All those resources of a united front would be better eqquipped at taking control of western Afghanistan which is conolwtelt out of their control and unite Afghanistan rather than having wet dreams of invading Pakistan.

It's amazing how childish and unrealistic afghanistan can be. They are abt to get some time free after decades of occupations and wars and they want to bring another war. Rather than cleaning up their own mess and creating stability they want to invade a foreign country.
