Chinese culture is very good .They are a hard working race. No wonder it is asserting itself nowadays

Do Indian think environment protection is more important than economy grow for India?

We are now the biggest energy producer and consumer on the planet.

And we are still a developing country! :-) Imagine how much power we will be outputting once we become a developed country.

Renewable energy is a must. There is so much potential hydropower and wind power in China.

And if push comes to shove, domestically we have the largest reserves of shale gas in the world, and the 3rd largest amounts of shale oil. We have plenty of regular oil as well, not to mention our coal deposits which are amongst the largest in the world.

no...tatz y our energy production is mainly coal based

Coal is less expensive to produce energy that drive India economy and give India, used the green energy for power production will be costly for India to compete with the world. Environment protection can be deal with after a nation economy is well developed and have high income.

actually wind energy is not as efficient as solar energy....too much maintenance is needed once these wind turbines are installed.........on the other hand though the starting capital of solar plants is high...its running cost is very less and further more...more and more advancements can be done in silicon technology to make solar power production more efficient.....and hydropower is clean energy not renewable :-)

exactly....now we are switching to nuclear slowly slowly....though we are the world's 5th largest energy producer...still we are not able to meet the consumption...it will take few more years....as almost all western states are getting uninterrupted electricity...as soon as the whole nation gets it...we will start focusing on renewable

Just mean India need to use all the resource wisely to generate power even the source being can produce negative impact on the environment. Developing nation have no other choice but to breath in the unhealthy pollution, that a price to be paid.

yup....a necessary evil

Pollution puts China in a very bad light, the country has to invest more on clean energy now.
