I'm vacationing in Sweden. No Norge would ever advertise for our mortal enemies.

Our ships use either the DM2A3 (on submarines)

And Sting Ray (on surface ships)

Our military exists for one reason: Russia. Ok, two reasons Russia and those pesky Danes. No three, definitely three reasons. Russia, Denmark, and the Americans if they ever get a bit lusty for our oil. Wait, it's four. Four reasons for our military to exist...

The four one is to ward off Sweden, lest they decide our nations need to form another union.

Seriously though (me serious?), ADCAP is a beast and with India's issues with European vendors - like corruption scandals, a diplomatic beef with Italy, French finances... and on and on and on... maybe the US is the most reliable supplier after all.

And besides, you'd get sanctioned by Germany or France or the UK if you acted against their interests, so the US sanctions threat is overblown.

Of course MK48 latest versions are good , but here issues like TOT for local manufacturing also play a role . And in that case , America is not a great partner. And there are many things on American systems which only they can service, this leads to bottlenecks in our operations.

Buying transport aircrafts has been fine as they don't use much techs which Americans only service , but we bought their Amphibious Landing Dock for training ,and because of its age, it needs regular servicing and guess what every time something occurs , Americans were there , stringent rules means Americans know what we are doing with their weapons and that's something which makes us uneasy.

This is on the contrary not the case with France , while Russia is complete opposite.( They care only for dollars )

Also it's only Italy with which we have few issues , France has been good and Germany also has been cordial. UK also is good.

So whoever gets us TOT and local manufacturing among the three, its pretty much them.
