Then the school should also consider the students who wear inappropriate clothes....as that may also alter the attention of male teachers...

I am sure that the school does that fairly, as its policies clearly cater to that possibility too.

Yet ,terrorism research website list almost all muslim nations as global sponsors of terror.
Countries that sponsor and accept terrorist presence
6 nations that are state sponsor of terror .Though now ,we can add jordan, turkey, saudi arabia,UAE,Israel ,USA to the list also. But still majority are islamic nations.
So, countries sponsoring terrorists means that Muslims support terrorists??
By that logic, the US is full of extremist Muslims.
In reality, countries sponsor whoever the hell they want to achieve their geopolitical goals and aid their interests. Nothing to do with Islamic extremism.

lol, if we started killing them ,then its murder, terror according to ummah ,if not then its retards according to ummah .

The first video, I usually disagree with Anjem Chaudhry, but this time he said nothing wrong. He never said he supported people who bomb innocents, he said that he supports those who resist occupation and interference by the US and other foreign powers. What's wrong with that? That CNN guy starts calling him a terrorist for saying that he supports defending Muslim land. Nothing wrong with that, except maybe this is just a part of the video and before this he referred to some terrorist attack, in that case I understand the American's reaction.

The second video, that guy's interpretation of the Quran is completely wrong. Killing innocents is wrong, and no, being Muslim is not a criteria for being innocent. You are innocent if you haven't harmed anyone, end of story. I sure hope this guy doesn't have too many followers, he's wrong.

Ummah means a Muslim community, has nothing to do with murder. If a Muslim kills a non-Muslim, he's a murderer. There's no such difference in Islam. Sure, there are some nutjobs who use Islam to justify their acts, but majority of Muslims disagree with them.

No, this is not a medieval society we live in. Head scarf is fine, but no premier institution should entertain face veil. The sole purpose of mass surveillance in British streets will be lost.
The sole purpose of freedom to practice faith will also be lost...it will turn into selective freedom for Muslims but total freedom for anything else!

Some use the word many for 1-3hence my annoyance....post 70 is a classic example :agree:

lets mummify you! :pissed:

Indian Men and their Mums, amirite? :D

also it's weird. If you go to Hyderabad in Telangana and the Muslim parts in bangalore, you will see more black burqas than you will see in Pakistan.

I guess it is their way of maintaining a seperate identity because Hyderabad and Bangalore are IT heavyweights and most of the culture is westernised.

But that IMO, leads to ghettoisation.

Why do Muslims, if they have so much problems following laws of the country or the simple laws of school, even live in non Muslim countries? Why should everyone bend laws according to their whims and cries? Get out of this medieval mentality, we are living in modern world..

To be fair, Muslims have just the same rights and freedoms to practice their religion and beliefs as anybody else, no matter which country they live in, but as long as all the responsibilities of living in a civilized society are met as well.

Everyone is free to practice their freedom in their home, when you're a part of a greater society, then it can be equated as getting isolated from the main stream community.

There is no fine print that states so...

Their country their rule, respect or leave ...........

It will be surprise if multiculture is allow in Middle east country also ???? No, then how can we blame them .........

I fail to see how wearing a veil is called 'uncivilized'. Security concerns are still understandable though. The girl should have stuck with wearing a simple headscarf, covering the face is not a requirement in Islam.

I do believe the majority of the onus for fitting in with the society actually falls in with the migrant. He chose to be in a western country for a job.

That migrant has the opportunity to start a new life.

western nations for all their foreign policy debacles are havens of tolerance compared to a lot of the countries these migrants come from.

Also a caution of being overly assertive in wanting to stick your religion, it makes the local population more susceptible to campaigns of the European right who says letting in Muslims will compromise European values. Ditto for the American right.

There are rights guaranteed to migrants. But there are also duties. And yes, at times it will compromise your values if you are an orthodox person. You migrated to that country.

Apparently, Sikhs can wear their Turbans, and Hasidic Jews can wear their religious outfits on their own personal conviction, but a Muslim girl wearing a veil is a fanatic "Stone Age religion follower". Nevertheless, she's in school and has to follow the rules. A veil is a bad choice there.
