France is in per capita 26th while Uk 24th no where near 7th.. But unlike the GCC they have both BIG economy followed by high per capita that translates into as being Legitimately wealthy..

Turkey has 7.33x higher GDP PPP than Norway, but the average Norwegian worker can for instance buy 100kg of bananas with the salary from one days work. The average Turkish worker can buy only 3kgs. Banana was only an example, same thing applies to everything else.

Lets make it more interesting. Average Turkish worker can buy 1.5kg ground beef with one days salary. Average Norwegian worker can buy 14kg ground beef with one days salary. What good does the 7.33x higher GDP PPP do?

Yeah right. To get to my point, all that GDP PPP means nothing when the population is struggling economically. All these fancy building and hospitals, who are they for, the native population or the wealthy? GDP PPP is only good for bragging in PDF.
