Tipu Sultan was not Indian and a killer - BJP minister as Karnataka celebrate the Tiger of Mysore

I don't know what's the problem here? Why some people want Hindus to celebrate someone who indulged in murder and forceful conversion of Hindus. Not everyone suffers from stockholm syndrome.

That makes sense, but then why are so many Indians always telling me that I should celebrate Ranjeet Singh just because was Punjabi?

Yes Minister is right, Maesoor was an independent State which occupied by British and then by India.

The bhakt point of view (Orange faction - in Ireland, the Proddies). Now counter-battery fire from the Green faction, the Papists. Watch out for incoming.

Also financed temples, patronised the learned, worked with Hindu ministers as his right hands....yup, thorough bigot this one. Wait a minute, it's about his Muslim bigotry? So sorry, consider the foregoing deleted. My bad.

No.

Ashoka was significantly different. But people would be justified in saying similar about Gautamiputra Satakarni.

Maybe you don't think - enough.

The Ashoka that we celebrate is the Ashoka who repented. You understand repentance, or is that another kaffir word used by the weak who don't understand how glorious it is to slaughter in the name of God?

And you seem to forget that the 'wheel' on our flag was originally a charkha, converted to a wheel so as not to alienate the very large number that did not hold with Gandhi's social and economic beliefs.

Which ones?

As for Indians - not Muslim Indians, but balanced Indians of all beliefs - protesting, what happens when things come on Twitter and Facebook that don't suit your narrative? You only read those that suit you, is it?
why are you being such a dick?

I was asking honest questions and you got supper butt hurt, why?

Okay and tell me, what part of the Indian character represents repentance?
Is it before or after killing people over allegedly eating beef?

Did you really think that @SOUTHie personally put that wheel on that flag? You asked him his personal position, he gave a perfectly fair perfectly appropriate answer. Don't you think you are way out of line picking a fight?

He might turn on you. He might point to Iskandar Mirza's direct ancestry. 'Great-grandfather' is not too far away, after all. What next?
your the only one picking a fight
Most Indians I know are pretty bad at English so I will give you a pass, but re-read what I wrote. Then read it again and you will realize I didn't accuse him personally of anything.

I know but then might be @ranjeet is from Kerala...and after reading voiceofdharma suddenly face the real image of Tipu

True Tipus origin is from Pak.

He was a great warrior, king and a ruler for his people/subjects.

Another false claim from this elite member without any proof. From which area in pakistan tipu belongs to? None of the Muslim rulers of india belonged to current day pakistan.

Where was the honest question? The bit I answered was an assertion.

An honest question for you: are your dick and your butt the most active parts of your anatomy? You seem to be obsessed by them.

As for your renewed set of honest questions, it is not the Indian character on display in the Indian flag; it is a representation of the Buddhist creed that Ashoka followed, and in honour of a great emperor. He was great because he repented; if everyone repented, there would be nothing to distinguish him from others, there would be no reason to call him 'the Great'.

Eating beef does not come into it. It is not clear why you drag that into it, other than to taunt and to ridicule and to imply that all Indians take to violence if they know about beef being eaten. Such a pathetic fallacy, considering that it is widely eaten in the south, and in the east, and by Muslims in the north and the west.

If you wish people to believe that you ask honest questions, you really have to work hard on the way you present your honest doubts. Your current efforts lack credibility.
