Time to get Pakistan out of America's influence - China

That's easier said than done! Can China, Pakistan's all weather friend, afford to give the freebies that America is giving to Pakistan? No. Can China influence the international lending organizations like the IMF, World Bank etc? No. Can China be able to provide Pakistan hi-tech equipment matching American standards? No. Can China provide the aid that the US is giving Pakistan during natural calamities like floods etc? No.

Considering the present situation that Pakistan is in now, it would be a bad idea to even think of it!

Must be someone ignorant of modern day economics.

Pakistan is getting $2+ billion direct funds, and another $5-8 billion indirect funds from the Americans.

Now the day China can replace nay supersede this money, Pakistan is not going anywhere.

China is the biggest economic partner of America,

Chinese people have worked their backs off to earn every dollar from America by filling their walmarts, and targets and dollar stores.

How dare bunch of Pakistanis sitting on their lazy @rses expect those hard working chinese to give us bheek of $20 billion.

Its nothing to do with China.. Its more to do with the countries that decide to be client states.. All client states, whether or America, China or any other country so to say, end up the same way.. I pray Pakistan does not go that way..

no idea if its true but if it is true then china is a true friend But i will say 2 pakistani that they have 2 rise Up its our mistake that loan pak took it didnt used on them or it was used some where else in the pockets of politicians or in the defence But its Our mess and its us we have to deal with it Pakistan got very thing on man power resources every thing they just dont have the will to stand for Up themselves Till that if china gives the money it will do no good to Pakistan

Not necessary, if one would consider Canada or Japan as client states or protectorates of the US - both have benefited immensely by trading with the US and its allies.

The problem happens when the client statehas clandestine intentions or the Master state has some other use for you. NK is being rared as a counter to SK. In Burma junta was actively supported against their own people.

I think you probably didn't understand the article. It doesn't say anything about Pakistan to be a client of China or a slave. It merely points out that the long trusted friend of Pakistan has sought out a way and is eager to implement it so that Pakistan becomes independent of "EVERY" country by paying its debts. So that the money spent in paying debts can be used to improve the infrastructure and economy of the country.

There should be No foreign influence. China is a good ally but we should consider only trade and defence. Nothing should exceed beyond this.
