What's new

Time for India to pay back !

So if India releases this man, will you release Sarabjit Singh?

If yes, then you have a very strange, not to mention stupid, way of dealing with terrorists.

If no, then India should not bother with this particular guy.

Mr. singh was born in hindustan and will die in Pakistan...I can assure you that.

Some of the Pakistani members here are behaving more than a little funny. This man was convicted of murdering a relative & was sentenced to life in prison. Unknown to many here, the Supreme court of India has held that life imprisonment means imprisonment for life & not for 14 years as was earlier followed. What is now being asked for is a pardon/commutation of the sentence. There is nothing to suggest that Indians were gunning for this man, he was after all incarcerated for the death of his relative in a property dispute. Yeah, people get old & they need help with stuff including going to toilets. That however is not a legal grounds for release. A release can & is being considered on humanitarian grounds & for Pakistani members here to go bonkers over this only shows their residual anti- India hatred.

Oh please, if you look at the posters who have made illogical racist posts against Indians here, they are the ones whe indulge in rabid anti india idiocy all the time. They do not have to read or even misread the issue at hand, they just need to relieve themselves every now and then. Upbringing, lasts a lifetime.

Thanks for making a useful post on this otherwise idiocy infested thread.

At topic - if this guy is too old and ill, no point keeping him in jail. Thats the norm followed worldwide, and the humane thing to do. Besides, he's done some serious time behind bars anyways.

Oh we already do - Remember Mumbai attacks?Barked like a dog but could not bite....

10s of thousands of Pakistanis have died since Mumbai attacks, even if you kissed our feet and begged on all four we won't attack you and provide that much needed diversion. In the mean time, please continue cocky statements, they are well deserved :)

I just cannot even imagine the suffering, how awful it would be for his family, and especially his wife, to live in old age without the companionship of her husband...
1. Why do you assume he is treated badly BECAUSE he is a pakistani ?
Arent there few lakh people in indian custody ? There was recent news of a prisoner who was released when he was 108. It was right thing to do.
2. Did you think about man/women who was killed by this person ?

I believe you have respect, just the way I do, to judicial system which releases hundreds of criminals for lack conclusive evidence, and convicts only when it is sure.
If he was a hindu in pakistan and he had killed a man, he should have suffered equally, as warning to criminal that they can't miss sword of judgement.

More troubling thing is, why is someone thinking so biasedly ?

hats of to your danda treatment man..... show some guts in front of IA.

If ur blood is so hot and jumping to come out then take a straight fight with army.

Let it happen and no side should step back. Finish this pathetic mentality from both the sides.

Lets god decide himself where Mr. Singh will die. Don't assure something which human don't have capability.

there is a history of ill treatment towards Pakistanis by Indians, if you never get to know, its your level...

he didnt kill anyone, he was just being dragged into a case, a clash between two groups, he happen to be present there, thats all his fault...witnesses can be bought for 500 rs or more, you know how this goes...

If the law of the land is that he should not be we cant really argue. Perhaps ask for humanitarian grounds?

He should have been released on humanitarian ground anyway. I dont think we should wait for an exchange program for situation like that, he is not a fisherman.
Just release him without any fanfare, just let him go.

Same can be said about all Indian prisoners in pakistan, implicated in fake cases.
The point of discussion is whether we should release him after he has served >14 years, and his sentence can be commuted.
I am sure most Indians will support that, as he is too old already, and has served a long sentence.

yet another example of misleading fabricated thread tittle in a attempt to dilute/pollute the core content..

Wow.

Then theres no way that Pakistan should even think about releasing that indian terrorist sarabjit singh

The Pakistani leaders are always looking for ways to enhance their personal image to the indians or the americans, even at the expense of national interest and the indians take advantage of that. And after the show of that generosity the indians and americans say, "You see, our guy was innocent that's why the Pakistanis had to release him." I won't be surprised if the indian terrorist is released, after all it will endear Mr. Ten Percent, little bit more, to the indians.

no you cannot claim that, it would be a flat lie, as for spy and other criminals, they dont have visas...and are caught red handed, its not that their names are added in FIR...
looking at the greater picture, what we must do is to not uselessly involve civilians into our general hate towards each other, the case should have been dealt by pakistan government as he was our asset, and surely a false allegation led to all this suffering...to avoid further, it is now up to the governor of Rajisthan to sign the release document...and both the countries to try to take measures that would spare civilians from such mishaps...

India release five Pakistani children after 11 years

KARACHI - Some five Pakistani children who were apprehended in an Indian jail for last eleven years reached Karachi on Thursday.
As per details, some five children, along with their parents, were arrested by the Indian authorities eleven years ago. However, the parents were later released but not the children. In a good-will gesture, India released the children who landed on Karachi airport.
The parents and relatives of the children were present on the airport to welcome them.

hay koe insaniyat yar?

Such claim and counter claims can be made from both sides. They have caught red handed? How do you know they are not implicated? Why do you think we should trust your agencies more than ours.
That will be an unending debate.
And that is not even the point of our discussion.

Why are Pakistanis pretending that there are no Indians in Pakistani prisons? Yes all the innocent people from both sides should be released. But trying to score cheap points and taking moral high ground is just sad.

In December 2009, the Sindh High Court in Pakistan took suo motu notice of a report that several Indian under-age prisoners were languishing at a juvenile detention centre in Karachi. At the very first hearing, the assistant Advocate-General for Sindh told the judge that when so many Pakistanis were languishing in Indian jails, there was no reason for Pakistan to exert itself for the Indians in its jails.
