It is the Indian navy which changed its requirement. They need twine engine fighter and hence twine engine fighter was designed for Indian navy out of Tejas. It seems to have evolved into omni role combat aircraft now.

If you have even a little bit of knowledge, you should know that Deck based fighter always require higher thrust. Naval Tejas was planned with a higher thrust engine GE 414 EPE. However IN changed requirement later on.

Yes negotiations are ongoing for a full weapons package with USA and has been confirmed by both USA and BD.
This will be the biggest weapons deal in BD history.

FC-1 block 3 would be close to 35 million each, J-10C will be between 60 to 65 million each.

FC-1 block 3 with AESA Radar and PL-15 would be perfect for BD.
