Saw the Liger at Parrot Jungle in Miami, that thing is huge. It weighs like 900 lbs. They also have a 20 ft croc

May be because they are not unique to Pakistan? China has the most number of snow leopards followed by Mongolia and India.

Actually only tigers can be called the king of the jungle, the lions perform better in plains where they can see long distances & can co-ordinate a group attack.

Funnily the animal most feared in the Indian jungle is the Sloth bear.

They are feared because they are a little crazy. They are the only animals that can attack without any provocation. They are very good at scalping people.No wonder they are feared.

The tiger is not without competitors, the most feared of them is the Dhole;the Indian wild dog also known as the red dog & the whistling dog. More interesting names are the "red devil & the "devil dog". They are the most feared predators of the Indian jungle because of their ruthlessness & their stamina to wear down any prey. The tigers & the Dhole usually stay out of each others way but sometimes the dhole are known to take on the tigers. A famous incident is of a tiger killing 13 dholes before being killed & eaten itself.

This is a video shot in Assam India where you can see the tiger is not afraid of the elephant and jumps high up on the back of the elephant. Incidently the man on the elephant lost part of his hand in this incident.

Tigers are heavier & stronger than lions. Tigers also fight each other for territory. Tigers bring down a 1000-1500 kg Gaurs on their own. Unlike the lion which kills by clamping down on the throat, a tiger can in addition to doing that snap an animals neck with a single bite which actually is their favourite method.

Nature rarely has a plan for "if". An elephant is anything but weak but there are cases of tigers attacking elephants on their own. See what a single slap from the tiger did to the poor lion.
