Should tigers be renamed as the king of the jungle?

I guess the lion is called a King because it keeps a Harem of Lionesses. No such luck for the Tiger :p

Lions are lazy and they loose there stamina in matter of seconds. Thats why you always see lionesses always making the kill until the lazy Lion comes in roaring bullying the entire pack.

lioness hunt because they have more stamina for running and hunting..but when it comes to fights or defending territory lions can fight long and hard..i have checked some links and i got an impression that it's anybody's game.

Ligers are huge compared to tigers and Lions. About 75% larger. But they have a lot of genetic defects and cannot reproduce.

A couple of people have mentioned ligers and tigons - crosses between the two species. These things are MASSIVE. Very scary beasts. Fortunately like a mule, they are sterile.

This thing could grab her head like a cookie. I don't know how people can become animal trainers like this, knowing that their instinct is to simply eat you for breakfast.
