Tibetans killed by Chinese Forces ; Nun self-immolates protesting

It's a very powerful message that the nun lit herself on fire. History repeats itself yet again but this time it's going to be China.

I don't know if God is out there, but if he is out there he would not feel happy seeing people taking their own life for what ever reason it might be. Life is to make progress and not we are not supposed to treat it the way we are treating it.

This self-immolation will do nothing to the heartless and stone-cold CCP. Come on, even Tibetans know that they didn't hesitate to bring army against own people; not even Tibetans but commoner Hans. What was the nun or the rest of the Tibetans who self-immolated in protest achieved? Instead, they gave pain to their loved ones, made their lives difficult and only ended one less person to fight back.

While I respect the Tibetan school of thought regarding peace and harmony, a conflict can never be won with peace when the enemy is so adamant on one's destruction. Tibetans need to come out of this state of monkhood as a nation and start taking things seriously.

well, rip to the dead, but why is it you always hear the young people burning themselves instead of those who are "devoting high-ranking religious leaders"? I mean all the monks who are lets say about over 50 years old they spend more years study their religious and likely live through the glorious life under Dalai, and the repressed life under CCP, shouldn't they be more likely to devote their lifes to the course?
when people take seriously about "Free Tibet said", and questions everything any Chinese media says, the double standard is just so hypocritical. Yes sir,but thats the way Indian and Pakistani can protest but a chinese can't.I would say,we are very fortunate to have a democracy in our country and lets hope some day chinese will also overcome this communist devils..

But both the example are very ironic,at one side(pak) one is killing ourself to kill others, at another side one is killing himself just to protest against there chinese version of democracy..
