They have left no stone unturned to harm Pakistan, whether its kidnapping/killing of foreign nationals working in Pakistan, destroying schools and infrastructure, damaging tourism, threatening business community...anything that plays its role in prosperity of Pakistan.

It is sad that Pakistan is among the three countries on the planet which are still dealing with the polio virus, and many children get infected and are crippled for life. It is sad that the health workers, who go door to door to administer polio drops to children of underprivileged families, are targeted and killed. Our heart goes out to the families of those killed, and we condemn this act of senseless violence against those heath workers. They were only out there to save the lives of a few children, and earn an honest living. Those responsible for these heinous acts should be brought to justice, so in Pakistan too children would grow up without the fear of a crippling disease and become productive citizens.

well thanks for your great concern, but may you could remember it all started happening since , CIA start using dr. shakeel afridi to hunt OBL, just because of that horrible fact , trust of the pakistani nation has been shattered on these health benificial activities, which are the most required ones in pakistan.
well i hope that you & your adminstration will work for restoration of the trust of pakistani peoples, on these hounrable health organizations working specially in pakistan, & thus CIA will stop using innocent pakistanis for its unlawfull activities, at the same time i wish fully hope for more closer support of your adminstration, in our fight with religious extremism & terrorism in pakistan,
its infact a very worrysome horrible time, & this incident of 4 Female Polio Workers shows us the growing brutalty of terrosists against innocent pakistanis, & as a patriotic pakistani, i give you my word , these animals will be delt with brutal justice by our PAKARMY, rest asure!

First of all I don't understand why children are t being vaccinated in hospitals after birth. Why aren't parents taking their kids to hospitals for vaccination. Why do health workers have to come find you to give polio drops. If parents themselves aren't doing it then one must ask why bother going after them. Let them live like whatever they want.

Hospital and primary care is not the same in Pakistan as it is in the developed world, in a majority of cases; babies are delivered by dai's (local midwives). And because there is no such thing as an (immunization record) for children, nor a national medical record, it is imperative that community health visitors deliver such services as immunization, WASH advice and Family Planning.

Polio vaccines are administered at the ages of 2 months/4 months/6months/1 year etc., depending on the strains of polio and the health of the child. So quite often children are already home by the time they reach the age of vaccination.
