The reaction by Pakistan government is just tokenism, it is an attempt to wash its hands off the responsibility.
The policy of differentiating between sarkari and non-sarkari terrorist groups is still on. The release of at least 3 sarkari terrorists is the indicator, while those executed are those who attacked the army.

Those who attack the civilian people especially the minorities are not going to be executed any time soon.
Execution of people like mumtaz qadri and akram lahori, Ahmed Omar saeed sheikh will be a proper indicator of the resolve of the establishment. As of now however, the judges are releasing the terrorists and staying the execution of those facing the death penalty.

Yes, but please know what "all" means in this context. How many are you willing to kill?
As many as it takes, reforming only works for those who wish to be reformed. For the rest as mentioned by an officer to the sympathizers in Rah-e-Rast at Saidu Shareef, to bahi bato Haan ya Baan?

From the markets and schools of Pakistan to the halls and streets of France, we have all suffered at the hands of violent terrorists and their extremist ideologies. Across the globe, nations and leaders are taking whatever steps necessary to curb this plague of violence. Recently, Pakistani leadership has passed a constitutional amendment to deal with militants wreaking havoc on Pakistani soil.

What are your thoughts on the ratification of this constitutional amendment? Would it help deter others from following the path of terrorism?

There is terrorism in the name of religion and there is also terrorism in the name of fighting terrorism and up-holding suckularism. It cannot be that only when a so-called Islamic militant kill people by blowing up bombs is terrorism. The most horrible form of terrorism is when the so-called champions of suckularism grab power with the help of guns and use the government forces to abduct and murder their opponents to silence any opposition to their unlawful hold on power or occupied land because this way the suckular champs hold hostage an entire nation. Now, do we see any kind of resistance against the latter type of terrorism from the US? No, we don't. Matter of fact,we see the US assisting the terrorists and supplying them weapons like the cluster bombs.

Why would you think it would be Pakistan, are you alien to what is going on in Germany, in France in Australia and indeed in your own streets of Ferguson?

No Mr. Haider, this is more than the musings of a spent cartridge, this is the reality we live in today. In the words of British Intelligence " The World has become a more dangerous place".

Yes, the hope for a worldwide conflict is there, but most of the carnage will remain limited to Northern Africa, the Middle East and Af-Pak region. Everything else will be mopped up easily.

It is ridiculous to even think that Pakistan wants to eliminate terrorism. The Pakistani establishment is the state sponsor of all terrorism in the region and some elsewere as well. Jihadi terrorism is the biggest business in Pakistan and works as follows:

1) The establishment uses the islamic card and Kashmir card to rouse up the foolish population;
2) the foolish population in turn thinks they all should become jihadi martyrs;
3) thus the jihadi groups get their recruits and they do the bidding of the establishment.
4) The establishment then goes around th eworld getting aid and loans to 'contain' the terrorists
5) In return for such moneys they then go shoot up a few thoudand pakistanis every year as terrorists, thus making them martyrs

simple proof: the jihadi nuts get their weapons from cottage industry units that have been filmed extensively. These are supposedly 'illegal' factories - yet Pakistan has not even tried to shut them down...if Pakis really want to stop terrorism, don't you think these factories would have been shut down years ago?

I wouldn't be surprised if ISI or Pak military does not have a rate card for number of lives per milion rupees in aid.
