Those who can't live without beef should go to Pakistan: BJP Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi

So, you are a secular and democratic state , which just happens to enforce the believes of majority religion over their the other. I believe that defines you as a relgious state and not a secular one.

In Pakistan a religious Muslim majority country, Muslims don't drink alcohol or eat pork, but it's available to minorities ones who chose to drink or eat pork. How exactly are you better then Pakistan or secular ?
Secularism means equal respect to all faith. Hence if there is some clash between faiths then a middle path is taken. That's been the trend throughout the civilized world.

This beef eating has led to distances amongst different faith in India.

To make India strong it's important for every Indian to be able to live with each other. Once the beef is banned there wont be any problem.

Please notice that Hindus in majority don't have problem with other meat. It's a welcome step.. And also India don't need Saudi practices of 700 AD just coz some invaders brot those practices. We aren't a desert country. Food, clothing aren't religious but regional. You don't ask a Muslim to wear salwar kameez in cold countries. Do you? India don't need beef. It needs cattle for milk products and farming. Their dung will make the soil even more fertile as manure.

India as a nation thrived in cattle since ages for its prosperity.. We dint have shortage of food like Saudi deserts to rely on big animals.

it is kiddo, for u people who r following an outdated religion it is a must for u to get knowledge of islam in order to understand it.
Then please teach it to those who are target killing your own citizens in name of ethnicity and sect. They need knowledge of Islam more than anyone else.

After seeing Pakistan and mid east it looks as if anyone who needs to learn Islam the most are Muslims themselves.

Enforcing one religion over other? Where did you find it? Nobody's asking Muslims to convert. What you speaking?

First of all, food is never religious as I explained above with examples of food and clothing. It's regional. Hence acting on food is not making state affairs religious. Nobody is talking bout destroying some mosque or something similar. Beef ban has a social implication rather than religious.

Even cows have started to eat meat

A farmer in Kenya says one of his cows has given up its usual vegetarian diet and started eating sheep.

Charles Mamboleo, who runs a farm in south-western Nakuru County, discovered the cow feeding on a sheep one morning, having apparently gored it to death, the Daily Nation website reports. Fresh food and water couldn't tempt the cow, and another sheep met its end the following day, the report says. "After the first incident, we thought the cow was starving, so we increased the supply of fodder and water, but it still continued chasing after sheep," says Mr Mamboleo.

While cows are herbivores, developing a taste for meat could be a sign of a nutrient deficiency, according to a local agricultural officer. "The dry season, which has just ended, has seen most animals lack minerals found in green grass," Albert Kabugi tells the site. In 2007, a calf in India's West Bengal region was filmed eating chickens. A local vet said he suspected a lack of vital minerals was also to blame in that case, noting that it could happen in "exceptional" circumstances.

Well there are case of lions which ate only vegetarian diet. Even crocodiles eating vegetarian diet is not unheard of.

Secularism
is a principle that involves two basic propositions. The first is the strict separation of the state from religious institutions. The second is that people of different religions and beliefs are equal before the law.

If India could only become stronger by enforcing one religion over the other then call it what it is and don't pretend to be a secular.

.
I thought you took the thekedari of protecting all Muslims around the world. Was it not why the Land of Pure Pakistan was made for?

We wanted to eat cow, so we made a country for ourselves. Now if Indian Muslims want to eat cow than they are free to make new pure country for themselves or start eating vegetables.

Why i thought you made a nation for All Muslims around the world, then why differentiate Indian Muslims? Are they not welcome in the land of Pure Pakistan which was created for all Muslims?:tsk:

LOL - Hindu bigots justifying making eating beef illegal.

In BD, Buddhists and Hindus are free to consume pork without any issues from majority Muslims.

.
Why is it that whenever Hindus and Muslims in India lock horns with each other on some issue someone is asked to be sent to Pakistan ?

Oh bhai stay wherever you are and stop bringing us into the conversation every time ! :argh:
The muslims left in Lucknow or other parts clearly belong to Pakistan as do religious minorities.
