Actually doctors in the US don't get paid that much relative to what they put in. (yes six figures for sure and highly variable depending on what specialty and particulars of the job)

It happens regularly in Pakistan dear,I used to do 24 hours of on call duty in the emergency of Holy Family Hospital as PG resident then next day would stay in ward so used to do 36 hours in one go.



Here in Uk I do one week of 12 hour shifts in one go and it's more exhausting than our 36 hours shift back home simply because of the extra documentation we have to fill. I'm planning on going back home just need to get myself signed off for a few competences.

Just do your own clinic, it will be lot fun. Just a friendly advice.

These are the doctors who form the bulk of any hospital,they include house officers/interns and postgraduate residents.

Just do your own clinic, it will be lot fun. Just a friendly advice.

Starting your clinic isn't as easy as it sounds like especially when you're a junior doctor.

Sindh Hakoomat ne Ehsaas programme se per recipient 500 deduct kare hain. Buhat jald salaries miljayengi doctors ko.

Many times we would start our emergency theatre at 3pm in the afternoon and would work till 7 in the morning and then start our elective theatre at 8 in the morning and go till 2 or 3pm. That's how the life of a surgeon is like initially.

A lot more than 30K I think. My cousin is working at Abbasi Shaheed and her starting pay was 45K. Maybe differs according to the field, etc?

Here in Uk I do 87 hours a week once every 3 weeks followed by a week of rest then another set of 87 hours.

Residency doctors do not get paid well but once they obtain their consultancy status than they do get over paid. For e.g a consultant easily can earn more than 6-7 lakhs per month while a surgeon even more than that... Residency training is of 4 yes than exams and viva which is tough to pass.
