This Chinese Startup Just Landed a Rocket Vertically

Apple to orange, the Shenzhou spacecraft was developed in the 1990s, and of course, during this era, China was more inspirational by Russian technology, but Shenzhou is still not an exact replica of Soyuz as you have proclaimed.

And you can see that China's next-gen spacecraft bears no resemblance to anyone, and the experimental test was done on May 2020. :coffee:

He is just a white supremacist racist.

. .
That guy is trolling, absolutely no serious aerospace engineer on the planet believes China is “far ahead in space tech.”

We won't get distracted by the Starship, as this rocket still has a long way to go to become fully mature and safe to host manned mission.

As for the Luna manned mission in the next 5 years, it is going to be CZ-10 vs SLS.

SLS has scored a premature maiden flight, but each launch will cost 4 billion which is unsustainable for the Luna manned mission.

The Long March 10 is also getting close to the maiden flight as the engine test was already completed in this year.

I said it was a Soyuz clone with upgrades.

I'll stand by that statement. I think most people would agree.

Well hopefully you'll get away from needing to use the Soyuz buttonsticks too

...oh wait wait wait wait your Shenzhou design doesn't have the same Soyuz limitations...that was just a wild coincidence. :rolleyes1:

Ah yes your second design was tested unmanned. This does finally look indigenous.

Meanwhile we are flying people on our 5th design (Dragon) and we have already tested unmanned the 6th (Starliner) and the 7th (Orion), and soon to be the 8th (Dreamchaser)

Now remember...you are supposedly ahead...

He is just a white supremacist racist.

LOL!

Chinese mantra: "Only Chinese can be flag waving nationalists...all other countries when they do the same are just being racists"
from the Chinese Book of Propaganda Psalm 5 verses 2-6.

I didn't say that China is ahead in everything.

The second unmanned test for the next-gen spacecraft will be coupled with the maiden flight of the Long March 10 in 2026.

The data with the Long March 5B was already acquired during the test flight in May 2020, so it would be pointless to conduct a second unmanned test with the same rocket.

We are waiting for the new super reinforced launch site for the super heavy rockets like the Long March 10 and the Long March 9.

And after 2025, when the new reinforced launch site is completed, the next-gen spacecraft will do a second unmanned test flight with the Long March 10. :coffee:

I also realize that the Starship didn't have a proper launch site with reinforced structure, and every time the launch site was devastated by the blast from the super heavy rocket.

This is the rocket that China is going to use for the Luna manned mission. Although it is only half-sized of the Starship, but it is using the proved mature technology, and the maiden flight will occur on 2026

The Starship is super powerful, but it is still far from being mature and to be ready to host for the manned mission.

LOL! Have you heard of the Orion spacecraft. It is a man-capable spaceship that flew around the moon last year.'

Your craft has basically done nothing.

Orion Capsule Makes Splashdown After Trip To The Moon

Manned flight scheduled for 2024
Artemis 2 (officially Artemis II)[4] is the second scheduled mission of NASA's Artemis program and the first scheduled crewed mission of NASA's Orion spacecraft, currently planned to be launched by the Space Launch System (SLS) in November 2024

Starship is the MARS rocket that NASA is repurposing for the moon.

The Starship surely won't catch up the coming moon landing race within the next 5 years.

The problem that each launch of the SLS will cost about 4 billion dollar, which is becoming unsustainable.

The Long March 10 is also ready to be launched once our new launch site is completed.

Also, the moon landing mission isn't only about the rocket, and even your NASA director is worrying that you cannot catch up with China on other domains.

China is also the king of the infrastructure, and we can bring all the earthling infrastructures on the moon, not just some random stroll on the moon.

Your NASA director is worrying that China can build all kind of infrastructure on the moon, while the US lacks this capability.

We can always put an Orion capsule on the top of a specialized Starship stack...

The Long March 10 is also ready to be launched once our new launch site is completed.

Well so far the SLS has done its entire job of sending a spaceship to the moon.
The Starship is in testing.

Your Long March 10 is basically vaporware compared to this.

NASA can't but SpaceX can...and soon they will be lifting mind boggling large payloads.

The Long March 10 is only 3 years from now.

It is a well-planned project like the Chinese space station.

And I am quite sure that China is destined to reshape the moon for the earthling civilization.

Long March 10 is pure vaporware relative to Starship Super Heavy. Expect much faster launches now that pad issues have been solved. SpaceX already has the hardware for the next 2 flights. It just needs final static fires completed. Next launch within 2-3 months is reasonable.

China closed the gap so fast American trolls in full panic mode don't know where the nearest toilet is lol. At this rate america is going to be left in the dust but then again there 35Trillion debt doesn't help either with all their demographic and social political issues now space is not even on their agenda. Compared to 90s america when it had no debt, no demographic issue (vast majority white vs white minority soon in 2040) and no social political divide like today left vs right. America wishes it was still the 90s lol

The Long March 10 is using the existing mature technology of the Long March 5.

And it will send the Chinese astronauts to the moon before 2030.
