'There is no God,' Stephen Hawking writes in final book

i'm newbe here its take time and i'm working on it to improve my English writting skill @pragmatic_dude

They allowed you to enter the USA with that mindset and language disability ?

On topic: Hawkings maybe right. It really is a stupid notion to believe that some man in the sky is sitting up there, controlling us and judging our every move. Perhaps religion needs to be re-examined. It has become too much of a fairytale with rigid rules of do's and don'ts

According to Islam, God is not a being, it has no physical form.

Everything in the universe is a consequence to a prior event. It is easy to say it came from nothing but its impossible to rationalise.

May I have a moment to talk to you about the Flying Spaghetti Monster? Its the only true God, seriously now!

Guessing we have grown up in the same religion .......

Your religion doesn't say there is God, it says there is only One God.

Your religion doesn't say God is there to control you, neither HE is judging you in this world, it says HE has given you the earth, the wisdom, the ability then why don't you think, hear and listen.

Your religion doesn't say God is a man sitting in the sky, it only hints at HIS attributes, it says HE is beyond your imagination. Neither religion says look for God in the religion, it says look at creation and signs .... think and ponder.

If it was God implementing strict do's and don'ts ........ there would be angels kicking rears of 99% of us on this Earth. What HE says is its you yourself and your actions that bring harm and good to you.

The late physicist's last book tackles Brief Answers to the Big Questions.

"Do I have faith?" he writes in Brief Answers to the Big Questions. "We are each free to believe what we want, and it's my view that the simplest explanation is that there is no God. No one created the universe, and no one directs our fate."

What a nob. Matter just doesnt appear out of nothing. Someone put it there. Hawkins may be clever but ultimatly he is stupid

Be exact, what do you need an explanation too, which natural phenomenon ?

Why does rain fall - I am sure you know all about water vapor formation, condensation, cloud formation and rain fall. And if can replicate the entire process in my lab - that does not make me a God.

On the other hand, why don't explain to us - If God Created this entire universe and all the planets in it then why this bias towards Earth? why does he make water rain on earth, where as makes Surfuric Acid rain on Venus.

Instead of being naive!! Try being a little creative for the sake of science.

You want to talk about predications of rainfall yet you dont want to talk about the laws that allow the process of watervapours , condensation, cloud formation. According to science this is a "natural" process and you accept it as a natural process but my question who made those laws ? Why do they even exist in the first place? How did this perfect system came into existence at all?

You can only create an environment for rainfall in a lab but you cant make it rain if natural laws that make water evaporate because of heat or cloud formation to rain without cold.

Yeah instead of talking about scientific achievements why not talk about nature and natural laws or natural phenomena that are around for centuries and govern our eco system. Science can only understand how these laws work, science cannot alter these laws.

You can clone a human only if you have a dna. But you dont want to talk about dna your only interested in scientific achievements of human cloning

One of them.

Great reply. God could be construed as cause behind the "prior event". We should all learn to agree that faith cannot be rationalised and thus having long winded discussions between the believers and non-believers is uttery futile.

You believe it or you don't. Simple as that.

How old are you?
The reason I ask is when I was younger I used to fall 'in love' at least once a week. I then realised that was not love but lust. Then when I accepted that by my 30s I realised lust in fact was just a mechancical and biogical response to procreate. Now that I am old I am so cynical that I see lust as just my body telling me that the trigger of that reaction carries good genes.

Muhammad Ali was stripped of his boxing world championship for refusing to be inducted into the US Army.

Never experienced "falling in love'',made fun those who did.
