Could you guys stop giving excuses for incompetence---.

If the Pak military had a plan---there would have been some aircraft shot down---.

Read / Hear the statements from ISPR---. They clearly indicated about the attempted incursion---that was intercepted and the aircraft turned away---.

He was talking about generals talking about taking immediate action---which meant---they had fckd up as usual and nothing was planned ahead of time---.

Lets assume PAF had shot them on 26th, the aircraft would have fallen in indian territory. India would have claimed they never intruded. It is pak that shot them and Pak would have labelled as aggressors, and as we speak both countries would have been at war. The propaganda / strategic / tactical victory pak is celebrating won't be there in the first place, and India would have been all over you!

People are mistaken---. What I have been saying is that the indian aircraft should have been allowed to come across the border as much as they could have and then taken out---.

Well MK firing on fleeing IAF jets is worst idea,we already know how much "randi rona"they are capable of doing.
Engaging them inside our air space was and still is our best bet.

So---you smashed the enemy the first night---took out a few of his aircraft---.

The enemy still does not know your true capabilites yet---. They decide to come in again---and you also have planned your strike---guess what---you would catch them with their pants down and inflict heavy losses on them---.

it was a golden opportunity to take out 15-30 enemy aircraft and break the myth of the SU30 forever---.

So---instead of smashing the enemy---you let him go to re-juvinate and recover---.
