I'm comparing our situation to countries like Syria, Iraq and African countries. I was saying when 9 of 10 from people of a nation follow the same faith civil war is almost impossible. Be it nationalist or religious. In 2 cases it is very hard possible to convert to extremists.

While there is some truth that is a stupid (and probably offensive)statement. Following the same faith only reduces the chances of a civil war not ending it

Note that I did not disrespect anyone. I kept it rational. When you bring in such insensitivity in which a large chunk of Iranian society will have to feel excluded as per your proclamations, this causes huge damage to Iran.

I am sorry, but I can not stand by still and silent while this is going on. I would do the same for an Iranian Jew. For an Iranian Christian. For any Iranian.

Bro, there are big differences there. Alot of these other regional nations are artificial states with little to keep the nations together except dictatorships with irons fists. Alot of these nations have tribalistic mentalities that means they go to war with each other little things. When the dictators that hold these nations together is gone, then the nations split apart. Even subtle difference within the same religious sect would be enough to spark a conflict.

You cannot view Iran in the same way. What binds Iranians together is precisely our history and culture. We are bonded to our history from 2500 years ago. How many other nations in the region celebrate traditions from 2500 years ago like Nowruz. Iranian even today see Cyrus as an almost holy figure, you think Cyrus cared about the religious belief of Iranians?

For us Iranians, it is our Iranian identity that our primary source of identity. Even if Iranians are religious, that should be a far second in terms of importance of identity. It is beyond naive to think it is the current religion of Iranians which prevents such a thing as internal conflict. To say such a thing would suggest you do not understand Iranians and Iranian mentality at all.

All this you are saying is as if you're describing Iranians from a parallel universe. What is going on?

And I sincerely hope that you go on and think about this, and develop a genuine understanding of why such insensitive behavior is really not constructive for any nation, let alone Iran which is a multi-ethnic, multi-lingual and religiously diverse society.
