There is an interesting article in the "WELT" today that says nobody can take protests of muslims against israel and for palestine serious anymore.

They rally mass demonstrations for evry palestinian killed from israel but stay silent while ISIS murders thousands of Palestinians now in Yarmuk, behead them and play soccer with their heads. The UN calls the recent events there as simpley "Heart of darkness".+

Yet you see not one comment about it from the muslim world. Where is Hamas while their fellow countrymen are being slaughtered? Where the typical mass rallies in Iran and Pakistan?

Of course evryone knew that the palestinian question is just used for political gains in the muslim world and nobody there gives a shit about them.

But its good that the recent acting of the muslim world finally shows it in public

You mean where's Saudi Arabia with their wet dreams of Sunni world leadership?

Pakistan has no bone in this fight or any other International conflict.

Iran's Foreign Ministry on Tuesday expressed deep concern over the dire situation for the Palestinian refugees in the Yarmouk Camp in Syria who have come under fierce attacks by Takfiri terrorists.

Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Marziyeh Afkham said the Palestinians who have taken refuge in Syria from the Zionist regime's crimes have now fallen victim to the atrocities committed by Takfiri terrorist groups that are serving the interests of Tel Aviv.

She condemned the recent terrorist attacks on the camp, stressing that the responsibility for such crimes primarily lies with the countries that still pursue "irresponsible polices" towards Syria and support terrorist groups known as the "so-called moderate opposition."

The Iranian spokeswoman further called on the United Nations to fulfill its duties regarding the Yarmouk human tragedy and force state sponsors of terrorism to cut military and financial aid to armed mercenaries in Syria.

The UN Security Council has demanded humanitarian access to Yarmouk district in southern Damascus. One UN official described the situation for the 18,000 refugees there as "beyond inhumane".

The situation has deteriorated since 1 April, when the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) terrorists launched an offensive

What a powerful statement. lol And now? I see no mass rally in Tehran. Go burn ISIS-flags in public

There have been many pro-Palestinian rallies in the past in Iran. Are you upset that they are not rallying 24/7 all year around?

There has not been one "pro-palestinian" demo in iran. They are anti-israel demos. Iran gives a shit about palestine. Like evryone else does too.

Basic fact is that Iran needs israel there. Its their only hook they have in that sunni dominated region. What is Irans stand in palestine? They are simply less hated than israel. Without Israel there would be zero influence for Iran.

I understand this kind of politics. It was invented from my nation. It is called Machiavellism.

What is happening to Muslims in Syria at the hands of Assad and Iran is much worse than what is happening to Palestinians. Very logical it get's less attention.

Yarmouk is under total siege and bombardment for over 2 years. With Iranian help.

Bro, i dont usually agree with some of your points, but you are spot on, on this one. Yes it true most muslim countries use Israel as the bogeyman(especially the 'muslim superman' Iran). Most of them ciouldnt care less when their fellow muslim brothers are being killed/beheaded in their hundreds/thousands by ISIS, Boko haram, Al nusra, TTP, Al qaeda etc, or when their governments do the same like Saudi Arabia in Yemen at the moment. Yet they cry crocodile tears when israel kills one of theirs(even when its simply a retaliation by terrorist Sunni group Hamas against israeli civilians/targets). Thats why i have little sympathy for such people, since its hypocrisy. I think its more about scoring political points as you said, thats why they protest about any small Israeli action while thy seldom do with theirs..

One iranian member on here even told me they are against/anti israel simply because the Quran tels them Jews are the biggest ennemies to Muslims, so they should hate/kill jews more than any hatred/problem they have against their fellow muslim country/rival LMAO:rofl:

Iran implemented International Quds Day since 1979. There has been a demonstration in support of Palestinians in Iran every year on Quds year for the past three decades.

Millions march every year.

Khomeini introduced the concept in 1979,
"I invite Muslims all over the globe to consecrate the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan as Al-Quds Day and to proclaim the international solidarity of Muslims in support of the legitimate rights of the Muslim people of Palestine."

This day is not as supported in all Arab countries as it should be. Unfortunately, even this does not make it easy for Muslims who try to support Al Quds day. In 2010, "In Quetta, Pakistan, a suicide bomber attacked Pakistani Shias holding a Quds Day rally . The Pakistani Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack which killed at least 65 people and wounded 160. "

In 2012, "In Bahrain, dozens took part in the protests which were dispersed by security forces' tear gas."
