What I meant to say was Since before the last 15 years there were "some" singers and yet singing was not taken as norm.

The two nation theory failed twice. The theory was suppose provide a state for Muslims. but It failed first in 1947, when Muslims chose to stay in India. And again in 1971 with the independence of Bangladesh.

So if Muslims wanted to stay in a state, all Muslims should have gone to Pakistan, which didn't happen. moreover the independence of Bangladesh shouldn't have occurred. Therefore, this theory is a biggest blunder.

Not everyone could've afforded to move to Pakistan, thats what Indian Muslims I have talked to tell me. The Urdu speaking Mohajirs who moved to Pakistan were mostly from upper to middle class families, most of hindutan's Muslims were poorer than hindus and they stayed back in hindustan because they couldn't afford to leave all their properties.

The poor Muslims who have been documented moving to Pakistan were Punjabi Muslims who migrated from East Punjab by foot or by train. All the stories we hear about Muslim people's dead bodies arriving in Lahore Railway Station were bodies of Punjabi Muslims, not Uttar Pradeshi Muslims who didnt have to suffer as much. And today in Indian Punjab there is less than 1% Muslim while Muslims still exist in Uttar Pradesh and other places these Urdu speaking Mohajirs came from.

And its good that most of hindustan's Muslims stayed back in hindustan or we would have to deal with more traitors like Altaf Hussain. So it was a blessing in disguise that most hindustani muslims stayed back in hindustan. It was also a blessing in disguise that Bengal seperated from us. With all that population living in that small area of land, they would've flooded our main cities in Pakistan. We dont need any more traitors.

which would imply that Bangladesh went back and became an Indian province.

Look at the map today, all what it shows is that there are not two, but THREE nations in the subcontinent.

i believe two nation theory was to give separate nation to muslims of subcontinent where they can follow their religion without any restriction and to spare them from so called oppression by hindus.
but did pakistan achieve anything from this so called two nation theory?? creation of bangladesh is first blow to two nation theory as bengali muslims felt need to form their own country due to oppression from west pakistanis...and whatever things that are going on today in pakistan are second blow to two nation theory..

In my opinion, Pakistan should've just been made for Punjabis, Pakhtuns, Kashmiris, Sindhis, and Baloch. It was a mistake inviting traitors from hindustan..aka mohajirs like Altaf Hussain and it was a mistake spending so much work in having Bengal into our Pakistan, we should've spend that effort on Kashmir instead.

And Punjab would've stayed united and been part of Pakistan. I believe Punjabi Sikh Indians have more in common with Pakistani Punjabis than rest of Indians. Everywhere south of Indian Punjab is where most of India's population live and they are very very different from us real Pakistanis of the soil.

Pakistan is nothing more than a piece of land gotten by some muslims of india to implement islamic constitution to show the rest of the mankind what islam is all about. The piece of land was nothing more than the land on which they already lived for generations. In other words one may take it as a piece of land under a different jurisdiction and that is all.

This land was not at all created as a muslim land to give accommodation to muslims. It is for this reason all had to stay where they already lived and no one really needed to migrate anywhere. This problem of mass migration was either caused by misunderstanding or by deliberate misinformation and disinformation by conspiracy to ensure failure of this new state. The beneficiaries of such conspiracies would be ultimately the foreign powers but also the majority community that wanted to hold on to muslim community for their own goals and agendas.

One will notice that none of the political leaders ever said that nonmuslims on pakistan side should move to indian areas and all muslims should move to pakistani areas. This proves various points but mainly that two nation theory did not mean that muslims and hindus should become divided and separated it was simply for purpose of having a piece of land to implement the quran as the constitution. This could not be done in united india. Other than this hindus and muslims are just the same people ie we are all human beings from common ancestry.

It was a very difficult struggle because even today one cannot create a state to implement islam because enemies of islam and humanity are stupid and friends of islam are not that enlightened to be able to know islam properly and make an effort to convince the rest of the world that they are going the wrong way round their daily business.

If people have sense they should know that islam has a lot of followers and one cannot push them aside as if they are nothing. The quran is very powerful book not that easy to undermine. For that one can read my other posts on other threads.

If anyone is here to express wisdom one is welcome but if you are here to show your animosity then again you must have a case so that I could examine. As for two nation theory it is fully defined for its purpose by the people who proposed it. The link is there so read it. Two nation theory is not what you think it is but what the people thought it is who put it forth. It succeeded in helping people get what they wanted ie a piece of land under muslim jurisdiction so the theory they put forth succeeded.

As for today, it was for muslims to implement the islamic constitution as it was explained by the founder of pakistan. If they did not then it is their fault not fault of the theory or its proponents. So any debate between pakistanis and indians today serves no purpose because they cannot stop creation of pakistan today. You see you are now born and living in this world today there is no point for you fighting with your parents why they had you. Today rightly or wrong pakistan is a reality ie a land in control of majority of muslims. The very same is true about bangladesh. All both parts need to do is implement islam and the 2nd phase of two nation theory will be complete. The next would be 3rd phase and that is making these countries great in front of the eyes of the world to show them islam works. Finally invite others to to do the same so that the whole mankind have great life. This is dream of the originators of two nation theory. They just wanted a breathing space so that they could work on their own for a while to solve problems of humanity as per advice in the quran.

If people after them turned away from their dream it matters not for them, the losers are us but only if we have the vision to see what they were actually trying to do. If pakistanis do not implement islam they have been dishonest to their ancestors but plan of Allah will not fail just because these people proved so senseless. May be Allah will get some in the develop countries to become aware of islam properly and may be islam becomes implement in there. So no implementation of islam in paskistan is not the end of the world as far as islam is concerned. Islam survived so far despite all the opposition and it can survive likewise in the future as well.

It is because as world is moving into the future problems are increasing in the world so when the tipping point is reached things will change and none can stop that.

So after six decades you WANT to do all those BASIC things??? Still, what have you been doing all this time, eating paya??? So until you achieve any of these exalted goals, we can safely say the two nation theory has failed as you have achieved nothing except millions dead.

You need to get going, do some real work, trying to disown pakistani punjab born noor jahan and calling her Indian will take you only so far.

Fine Fateh, I agree with the fact that we have not been very successful there is no debating this point.
But what I always say is, at least we are trying to get some where, The goal of a Muslim state where word of Allah rules supreme.
We have hurdles, and MANY problems.

But let me ask you a direct question If you die today, how comfortable will you be to Answer God ?
Is it better to say, that you dedicated your life for the creation of a country for his rule ?
or is it better to say I kept doing 5 prayers and 30 days fast and honestly paid taxes to a non Muslims country whose only objective is capitalism ?

Remember, we praise the prophets who dedicated their lives not for comfort, not for their worships. but we praise them for their struggle and sacrifice.
