They used to, but the 12 year war destroyed everything. The people themselves have become incredibly hard. Like when you compress loose soil with a heavy weight, now imagine that with a persons personality. I'm hoping it gets better with time.
Have you noticed how nationalism in Pakistan is very different from other countrys' nationalism? In Pakistan every village and every house acts like a fortress, the only one protecting Pakistan.
