You seem very concerned about the US's image on this forum since I only see you on threads related to the US or Chinese 'fan boy' threads.

I love my troops (And when I say 'my' troops, I mean the United States), but I do not like what they are ordered to do, and what they end up doing. And I do not see why any sane person in the US would like what they are doing either. "Iraq was a threat to our freedom." LOL.

Pakistani's who are generally not American, see the US as the 'Great Satan' as you like to quote them, thanks to videos like these:

This has nothing to do with anyone's right, although it is amusing for me to read about the freedom of speech from...errr...never mind. Anyway...A 'retread' is the result of what we called 'a slow news day'. It is when the report contains really nothing new except for some creative commentaries upon old news. For everyone of these former US troopers-cum-attention-hound, there are tens of thousands of US soldiers who did not perceive themselves and the US to be 'terrorists' and who did good deeds in Iraq...

But...To keep with the theme of putting out 'retreads'...



Right now there is a report of a third Iraqi al-Qaeda leader killed. Recently the world saw an independent Iraq election. These are indeed 'slow news' days.

Difference of opinion is always there.

You cannot label people as "true patriotic" who represent your views. Similarly, you cannot say "former US troopers-cum-attention-hound" to the people who have different views.

You have no idea how much good did CERP do for ordinary Iraqis. Of course, because these far greater amount of good deeds usually go unspoken, you, like so many here, have no choice but to believe that the US did only a 'few' good deeds there.
