Great words. I love him for this. Actually, the fact is the soldiers are told the situiation is terrible and out of control. They need to maintain control over the terrorists, which people like him, didn't find.

Others like the ones we talked about, are present in much more larger ratio. Cannot help it. Two sides of the same coin, but those who are 'murderous' have their side of coin upside, which means people will judge them through the killings.

America went to war because it felt threatened. I do not agree that they have a reason to be threatened by a weakened saddam hussain.
Having said that, they should be commended for sticking out there, facing bullets, fighting both shias and sunnis at the same time, and bringing some stability in that country. They could have just run away, as they are planning to do in afganistan.
