The Problems being faced by the Pakistani Young Diaspora and 2nd gen

and therefore, this platform is allowing both sides to communicate :agree:

Yes, I agree. And it is doing such a great job of it too, if recent events are anything to go by, right? :D

There used to be regular threads from second or higher generation diaspora wishing to go back and serve in the armed forces, but lately they seem to have reduced in frequency. I wonder what happened there? Did they stop considering it or did the armed forces stop allowing them in?

And thats why we are not successful we need to be unified not be some "multicultural petri dish" with a divided Govt and provinces that act like autonomous zones rather than working for the benefit of its people why is Balochistan poor despite it being rich in resources while Punjab has all the industry and elite f...ck that we need unified identity now and ever and I cant wait in next couple generations when Pakistanis will be unified as one people not act so provincial @Pan-Islamic-Pakistan

We are becoming one national ethnic group through inter-marriage and free movement within Pakistan for employment and education. The once sharp lines which separated Pakistanis of different ethnic groups are becoming blurred. PTI's victory is proof of the growing nationalism and patriotism in the country. In a few generations, we will be a monolithic people.

In culture, we were never subcontinental and did not share the history of the rest of South Asia. When I meet and get to know people from Turkey, Iran, CARs, Afghanistan, and even as far as Cyprus, Albania, Bosnia, Kosova, Caucasus, I see that in culture we are exactly what the Dilli Sultanat, Ghaznavis, Ghoris, and Mughals left for us.

We are Turko-Persian. This is best exemplified by our language (Ordu, Punjabi, Pukhto, etc. ) our cuisine, our dress, mannerisms, folktales, shared values, religious preferences, common heroes, historic epics, and lifestyles.

I will even go as far as to say that we share more in common with, for example, the Arab states of Yemen and Oman than we do with India. I was shocked to learn that they wear similar head-dresses to us, wear shalwar kameez, have similar likes/dislikes, and share other things in common with us.
