Guardians not necessarily do their job effetively but in social system where we live in, it is required.

People like u and me, have ample time to spend on forums but dont find any time to cast our vote....if you notice, this political leaders are riching out to slums and tribals more than higher middle class and rich ppl.....simple reasons, category one are loyal if they are bribed..for them it doesnt make any difference as who is the PM, for them their daily livelihood is what matter a lot!

And for us, just bcoz we are working in global envmt, we start comparing ourselves with out global peer countries...we dont want to sacrifice, we dont want to contribute in terms of improving our social system, we just want ....India is on par with UK/USA etc!

Why didn't these colonies in south asia adopt the presidential democracy?

In countries where their is caste system, parliamentary democracy does not seem to rectify the problem.
