What's new

The new war epic film is a masterpiece ''The battle at lake Changjin''

.
They should export this movie to Indonesia. I want to watch it.
It should be difficult to show in Indonesian cinemas during the epidemic. You might as well look for this pirated video online.
The box office of''The battle at lake Changjin'' exceeded 200 million yuan (31 million U.S. dollars) in a single day today and reached 4.766 billion yuan (740 million U.S. dollars) as of 22:00 Beijing time. Tomorrow and Sunday estimated to exceed 4.95 billion yuan (770 million US dollars)

Not sure where you got your history lessons from but Korea was divided into North and South Korea by the Soviet Union and United States without the involvement of the Korean people.

Thanks for the comment.

But as far as i know, china was involved in the Korea war and aided north Korea.

In addition to dispatching the Chinese People's Volunteers to Korea to fight against the United Nations Command, China also provided economic aid during the war.

Following the signing of the Korean War Armistice in 1953, China, along with members of the Eastern Bloc led by the Soviet Union, provided extensive economic assistance to Pyongyang to support the reconstruction and economic development of North Korea.

I do not know why you choose to Ignore their part in the formation of North Korea.

1,450,000 Chinese participated in the Korean war and only 266,600 North Koreans. Facing them where 326,863 US soldiers and 602,902 South Koreans , ( i omitted for now the other smaller forces involved. )

Just imagine what would have been the result of the war had china not aided the north Koreans . . .

That's the problem. Why it is hard for China to export their movies to other country. China needs to study this matter. Because like it or not, Movie is the strongest propaganda tool for any country who make it. We have seen the result of this powerful weapon.

Japan, they make a very powerful propaganda tool that aim for youngsters (and even children). Anime, Ultraman, toys, games. And they make propaganda tools for stupid perverts with their ****. And look the result now. People forget of their cruelty in world war 2 just because they adore Japanese anime or ****. And those people also mock China and Korea who still hate Japan until now.

Also look at the result of these propaganda tools. In the conflict between China versus Japan and US, people around the world, despite their government support China or neutral; they will see Japan as the good guy, and China as the evil one.

So now, as China got cornered by people who have been brainwashed by these propaganda tools, started to close themselves, or at least make themselves exclusive. Like in Ming Dynasty, and Japanese Edo Shogunate. Why? Look at how Beidu Search Engine, movies, etc are exclusively for Chinese market today. This behavior is dangerous. Because the history has told that any country that close themselves will be destroyed, or lose the competition.

China maybe strong physically, but if they lost in mind battleground, they will lose in tomorrow geopolitical war. Those US and Japan want China to close themselves like USSR. Japan and US wants China to be exclusive. To close themselves. Being hated by people around the world.

So, China needs to do something. The Government should encourage more creative industry and not curb them like today. If, they think that game is bad for Chinese children, they should encourage the industry to sell their product oversea. If they think that the topic is taboo to Chinese Government, don't kill it. Rather, sell them to international market. If the target country resisted or disallow the movie and the game to enter their market, the government should pay the industry and put those games and movies as pirated ware. So international youngsters and Children can download them for free and watch those propaganda tools without they aware of. You know, opium cartel sell opium, but they don't use opium themselves.

Expand creative industries whatever they target Chinese market or international one. Don't kill them. Target Youngsters and Children. Because they are the men and women of the future. Government officials who make this propaganda campaign hard to deliver are Hanjian. Because they want China to lose in today and tomorrow geopolitical mind war.

How many governments and organizations has USA supported for its own interests? For example, the Taliban, bin Laden, Saddam Hussein... What is their human rights situation?
And Afghanistan, Iraq and other countries bombed by USA. Is the United States not responsible for their current situation?

Ahem. I live in the West so it's very difficult to obtain Chinese movies legally. Know which websites I go to pirate them? Indonesian and one ending in dot cz (you'd be surprise by the amount of Chinese contents ending up hosted on a web server in CZ). Anyways, Indonesia the biggest hoster of pirated Chinese content. Anyone living in Id complaining about lack of Chinese content availability, shame on u! U guys are the biggest digital pirates. If I was Tencent or some other famous Chinese companies and concerned about piracy, the one country I'd crack down the most on illegal file sharing would be Indonesia.

(P.S: Dont ask me which Indonesian website it is becoz if they shut it down, I no get to see Battle at Lake Changjin all the way from North America. If u r smart, u can Petal search it...)

LOL. The feel mutual. I just want to watch the battle of Changjin legally.

Well, it is impossible to crack down those pirated websites in here. The Government had tried it, but failed. But the problem is, those pirated versions aims Women Audience mostly. With dramas like Korean one. They don't provided China war and military dramas. Even they don't translate Chinese costume drama that aim for male audience.

Still, China is also lack of show that aim for Teenagers and Children. They should not only try but push shows that aim for Children. They have to seize Japanese propaganda target area.

Naive question. If China invades Mexico, will US do nothing? Let alone North Korea helped CCP a lot when China was in civil war.

Thar was more or less my point !

My other point is that China has little reason to be proud of it's help of the creation of north Korea. Cant think of another place where the situation is not only lousy but people are even not allowed to vote with their feet and leave.

Had i had to choose where to live, I would much rather live in South Korea , wouldn't You ?

The battle at Lake Changjin is a masterpiece movie and carefully made it touches on all the necessary elements such as the Americans being given a true depiction as dislikeable arrogant and also one thing I thought was unique about the movie is the level of intensity and this movie just goes from intensity to intensity and that was brillantly done.

You can even feel the amount of intensity in the trailer it just keeps increasing
wow. can't wait for the full movie with English dubbing or subtitles...

I’m sorry but it is laughable that you think Shang chi is a Chinese movie. It’s basically an orientalist depiction of Chinese culture based on a script written by a white man. It has nothing to do with actual Chinese culture and it does nothing for China’s soft power. It would be akin to a western fashion label like Dolce Gabbana coming out with a kimono inspired summer wear and using a couple Asian models with exaggerated ethnic features on their runway.

People around the world when watching Shang Chi would not gain an interest in China, they’d gain an interest in Hollywood as that was where it originated. It just adds to America’s soft power.

That’s nothing in comparison to the soft power created by Korean movies written by Koreans and taking place in an authentic Korean cultural context. Hollywood movies written with a slant for the Chinese market do not spread influence for China, they spread influence for America. The fact that you’d think they were any way a vessel for Chinese influence really just demonstrates how much of an ABC you are and how American you actually are.

And yes, I do find some Black women fine as ****? You got an issue with that? Black, Latina and Middle Eastern women have the best bodies IMO.

LOL quick movie update for you.

1. Shang-Chi remains #1 at the U.S. box office.

2. Venom has surpassed Black Widow, but is now unlikely to surpass Shang-Chi. Poor Tom Hardy lol.

3. Bond is stuck at #6 lol. Not even close.

China’s ‘Battle at Lake Changjin’ is now 2021's highest-grossing film worldwide LOL.
