Bhai, this is most probably done by some political party + govt officers nexus etc. If it manghopir than most probably PPP.
But the root cause of all this is massive urbanization. In Pakistan, students from smaller area go to universities in big cities, and these degrees dont teach anything about starting their own business and how to do online businesses from smaller cities etc.
Same is happening with almost all big cities of sub-continent.
For example, take Lahore. Many many housing societies and schemes engulfed the fertile lands, where just 10 years ago there were field and active farming. Pakistan needs to connect almost all villages of Pakistan with railways to ports, activate our logistics system (TCS, DHL, NLC, Karachi and Gawader port etc) so that people may load their commodities and cargoes right from their villages to the be dispatched to the rest of the world.
Pakistan needs managements, right from Graveyards to water reservoirs, and from Schooling system to managing Industrial complex.

Naya Nazimabad is legal project build on Famous Mangopir lake. In 2020 this whole housing scheme was flooded due to the lack of sewage and water disposal lines. Land was given initially for mining to Javedan corporation for MINING LEASE ONLY . Later Arif Habib Ghani Usman Aqeel Dhedi a Business cartel / with the help of Govt Authorities bought it on meager price and launched Housing project.

A case was filed in the Sindh High Court (SHC) against the Naya Nazimabad residential scheme near Manghopir that has allegedly been launched despite a report claiming that the area has been used dumping ground for dangerous chemicals. These toxic Chemicals are hazardous substances which could harm human health and/or the environment.[1]

A study commissioned on the directives of the Supreme Court of Pakistan has found that the populations residing in Gadap Town and nearby areas such as Naya Nazimabad are prone to cancer-like diseases through Asbestos, a chemical can affect the population in neighborhood as it is air-borne.[2][3][4]

There has been a cover-up to downplay the contamination of Naya Nazimabad in Pakistan's media. Shunaid Qureshi, developer of Naya Nazimabad, CEO Al Abbas Sugar Mills and former Chairman of Pakistan Sugar Mills Association (PASMA) was arrested in January 2014.[5] Shunaid Qureshi is a son of Hum TV director Sultana Siddiqui, nephew of businessman Jahangir Siddiqui, brother-in-law of Television producer Momina Duraid and the cousin of actor Sheheryar Munawar Siddiqui. Jahangir Siddiqui son Ali Raza is married to the daughter of Mir Shakil-ur-Rahman, owner of Jang Group of Newspapers.[6]

The Javedan Cement Limited (JCL) was privatized and sold at very low prices of Rs. 4.3 billion ($43 million) to Haji Ghani and Shunaid Qureshi. The new owners almost immediately stopped production, dismantled the cement factory and converted the 1,300 acres JCL land into a housing project worth over Rs. 100 billion ($1 billion). Experts believe the cost of total JCL land including mining land could easily cross Rs. 200 billion ($2 billion).[7] The developers of Naya Nazimabad project includes owner of Arif Habib Equity. According to experts, the closing of Javedan Cement and establishment of Naya Nazimabad will cost Pakistan government $ 6 million annually.[8]

i think my plan of new cities is perfect but gov is sleeping deep in quma and everyone is suffering and destroyed in this country . we need 5 karachi type cities on costline we have ports we can move things to new cities but our stupid politicians will keep playing dirty rather then doing something

how cheap politics is in this country ? yesterday a jurnlist was going to qatri rani and asking her ab to ap khush hain na media coverage se ?

i think my plan of new cities is perfect but gov is sleeping deep in quma and everyone is suffering and destroyed in this country . we need 5 karachi type cities on costline we have ports we can move things to new cities but our stupid politicians will keep playing dirty rather then doing something

Actually we don't need to move things, neither we need to big cities like Karachi or Lahore.
We need to connect existing things, plan a bit, and manage things. A guy in a village should be connected to international market just the same way as a guy in city. Same facilities, like banking, logistics and medical. People don't need to leave their home towns or their families.
