''Sinicization means thoroughly transforming the ideology of religious figures, and eliminating pure religious beliefs,”

“The ultimate goal is to eliminate Christianity, and also to eliminate Taoism, Buddhism, and Islam, with only communism remaining in the end.”

Not only Muslims in Xinjiang face persecution. China cracks down on Muslims near Beijing targets mosque for women, as faithful hide their precious books.

An imam in Hebei Province Qinhuangdao city received a notice in December 2018 from a local government department...

  • “Books on faith provide answers to questions; some of them are especially popular with Muslim youth,” one Muslim told Bitter Winter. “The Chinese Communist Party wants to ‘sinicize’ religions and prevent foreign forces that would overthrow its rule. Therefore, all foreign religious books are banned.”
  • “In the future, such books won’t be printed anymore,” one imam repeatedly instructed believers. “We need to treasure and preserve them, as well as Quran. There will be fewer and fewer of them in circulation.”
  • One Muslim woman in her sixties complained, “What kind of world is this? Every day, [the government] is waging these campaigns to suppress religions. We have almost regressed back to the days of the Cultural Revolution.”
  • In addition to targeting books on Islam, authorities in Hebei have shut down a training class at a mosque for women.
  • Last September, this county’s Ethnic and Religious Affairs Bureau and other government departments notified the mosque’s director that the training class was being shut down. The reason given was that “individuals are not qualified to run schools, only the state is qualified to do so.”
  • Soon afterward, the mosque became a target for persecution. The authorities sent personnel to the mosque every few days to harass believers. In the end, all three teachers and more than ten students were driven away. All the tables and chairs in the mosque were also removed.
  • The imam added, “The CCP authorities restrict minors from accepting the Islamic faith, with the aim to gradually destroy the faith of the next generation of Muslims. In the end, their ideology will be dominated by atheism and Marxism-Leninism. This is the means by which the authorities are seeking to control and eliminate religion.”

Party Seeks to Replace Religion with “Happy Sundays”

At 10 a.m. on Sunday, November 11, 2018, Christians were holding worship services in Sizhuangping
Village in Henan Province Outside the church, however, it was more noisy than usual. The local village committee had organized some villagers to beat gongs and play drums as part of a Happy Sunday activity.

  • “In the future, you can come here for entertainment on Sundays,” said the village’s Party secretary as he greeted people. “This is a ‘turf war’ against religious people!

...a copy of a document issued in September 2018...“Happy Sunday”...The document was jointly issued by 12 government departments

  • ...“coordination of various resources and mobilization of all forces”...“The focus should be placed on rural areas (or communities) in which religious management tasks are heavy.”
*More pages in the link.

  • Each of the 12 government departments involved is responsible for its own projects, targeting different segments of society and creating a variety of activities to keep people away from religious practice.
  • As early as November 2014, the Xinjiang Daily website published an article entitled “With More Activities in Rural Areas, Religious Atmosphere Has Faded.”...authorities invested more than four million RMB (about $590,000) of funds... in advancing the goal of “using modern culture to dilute the religious atmosphere.”

A brief history of East Turkistan and its people

East Turkistan is the homeland of the Turkic speaking Uyghurs and other central Asian peoples such as Kazaks, Kyrgyz, Tatars, Uzbeks, and Tajiks. According to the latest Chinese census, the present population of these Muslims is slightly over 11 million; among these, the 8.68 million Uyghurs constitute the majority. However, Uyghur sources indicate that Uyghur population in East Turkistan exceeds 15 million.

East Turkistan is located beyond a logical boundary of China, the Great Wall. Historically, East Turkistan is a part of Central Asia, not of China. East Turkistan's people are not Chinese; they are Turks of Central Asia.

If you move the time on 8:07, and ask any Turk here what the Uygur Turk uncle says; They will tell you ''Alma kilosu beş toy''(apple 1 kilogram 5 toy); literally Turkish of Turkey despite thousands of kilometres away.

Despite being thousands of km away, if we can understand them, then anything left to say?
