Bangladeshi Hindus are accepted because they are persecuted, same way Tibetan, Tamils, Punjabis, Hazaras are accepted because they are fleeing persecution. Also general feeling is Bangladeshi Hindus add value to the society as mostly they are educated middle class.

Facts speak louder than word I believe. Hindus were once 33% of your country. Today they are barely 10%. Either they were slaughtered or they left. You will say they left. This is completely wrong. I have a whole bunch of Hindu friends from where I came. I never seen any riots neither had any form of fight between Hindus and Muslim. Yet 2/3rd of the Hindus left. They did not even bother to sell their property rather one fine night they disappeared. I asked one of my hindu friend who is trying to get back some of the abandoned property of his neighbor from the government as why they did not give the property to them before leaving as they were related to them. He said they even did not let them know before leaving. Then I asked, how come they abandoned all the property but he smiled and told me that they got more land in India for free than what they had here. People were given land in the hills as much as they could plough in India. A lot of Hindus took this opportunity of free land in India and left BD. There is nothing BD muslim could do about it.

In my entire life I never met anybody who said they know any Bengali Muslim who migrated to India. Until I meet one I have no compulsion to believe Mr. Jyoti Bose. It could be Bihari Muslim, who knows.

Talk with logic not emotion. Since independence % of hindus have not gone down significantly as it was 13% in 1971-1972 and now what you have said. The decline is mostly due to the lower birth rate of the hindus.

Reality is, Muslims have been residents of Assam since after a failed adventure by Bakhtier in 1203. Why do you deny their rights as citizens? Assam became a part of British bengal only in 1880s.
