The Human Carnage of Saudi Arabia’s War in Yemen

Oman shouldn't have been included. They're quite pro Iranian. Whenever a Western or Arab country wants to mediate with Iran they always choose Oman.

Oman is an important member of the GCC who supported and supports the status quo in Bahrain. No GCC monarchy has any interest in seeing unrest in any GCC country which is not only the richest area of the Muslim world, biggest economic bloc (by far) but also arguably the most peaceful region of the Muslim world with the lowest crime rates etc.

The focus for the GCC is economic, infrastructural, social, educational etc. progress and concrete steps are taken each day to reach those objectives.

Also it's the current childless and almost 75 year old Omani Sultan that has chosen a neutral policy towards Iran. He won't remain neutral if the integrity of the GCC will be threatened by Iran or if they are foolish enough to attack any GCC member state or other Arab counties.

In any case the GCC puts great emphasis on business and trade hence why the biggest trading partner of Iran is nearby UAE while otherwise those two countries are rivals. Over 1/3 of all Iranian imports originate from the UAE.

It is no secret that most GCC leaders are pragmatic and that's hardly a bad virtue.

Business is business. Politics and rivalries another thing altogether.

Bahrain population has a population of 1.32 million. You have to take figures like that for the population. For example, 200 killed in China's 1 billion population would be less relevant than 100 killed in Bahrain.

Let's use your own figure t o see how it would be applied to other countries.

Okay, so let's do a simple math calculation. 93 out of 1.32 million is 0.007%. Let's first use your own country as an example,
UK: 64 million, therefore 4509 deaths! Wow!
USA: 318 million, therefore 22,467 deaths! Holy shit! To better explain this, 9/11 attacks caused 2606 victims, so that's almost nine 9/11 attacks!

Now, let's look at some other figures. 2900 wounded, that would be like 700,613 being wounded in USA. 1,866 tortured, that would be the equivalent of 450,808 being tortured in USA.

Over 100,000 took part in the protests, which is 7.5% of the population, and insane number for protests. Again, using larger populations, that would be a protest of 24 million in USA. The largest protest in USA was in 1969, and that was 500,000.

But let's not stop yet. 1000 troops from Saudi entered with 500 troops from UAE. That would be like a foreign army of 362,386 entering USA to stop peaceful protests or a foreign army of 72,727 entering UK.

So, do you see now that 93 isn't low at all?

Syria could have easily been avoided. Syria was a stable and peaceful country, and only a few years earlier, Assad had been considered the favorite leader among Arabs, according to a poll. There were no Syrian refugees, and actually Syria was a good place for neighboring refugees such as Palestinians.

However, by pouring arms and cash to Islamist thugs, they turned a once stable country into a hell hole. None of it was by accident.

Here is a timeline:
Syrian War-Islamic State (ISIS) Creation Timeline | Global Research - Centre for Research on Globalization

You will see that the plan for Syria.

Also do not forget to mention how many soldiers from saudia or uae engaged with the terrorists. For your info the 1000 troops from saudia were never used against protestors or terrorists for whixh the bahraini security personnel were enough. The troops were deloyed to protect some strategic and important sites and was more of a goodwill gesture. No troops from the uae were called to bahrain. Rather 500 police personnel were sent for support and as advisors. Who were under the protection of the local police and had separate arrangements.

Note that no bahraini protestor or terrorist has been killed or injured by he hands of a saudi or an emarati. Instead one emarati officer was killed by the terrorists. They were more of a goodwill gesture and a morale killer for the terrorists.

It is time for the Irani regime to look at themselves as to what they are doing in syria, iraq or yemen and trying to do in the gcc. No gcc country is trying to dismantle or engage in any kind of terrorist activities in Iran. Enough of the double standards.

A few days back, Saudi bombed a bottling factory, killing three dozen workers.

But yeah, I don't really care about "international law" or "geneva conventions" since the only international law I've seen since I was born, is the Law of the Mighty. USA attacks countries left and right, and that's perfectly fine, according to International Law.

And the Saudi claimed it was producing military material.
If they had good reason to believe this is true,
then it is considered a mistake, and not a crime.
Water bottles might even be considere dual use, since an army without water in the
desert is soon a dead army, but that is of course controversial.

Yes, permanent members of the UN Security Council can do whatever they want,
but there will be political repercussions, like Russia is going through right now.
Politicians in the democratic permanent members will also have to answer for their deeds at the next election.
For others, the rules still apply.
