You need to see how meagerly Urdu speaking people live. 75% belong to the middle class. Safed posh in true meaning of the word. But why are we always painted with this brush of being wealthy and privileged? We lost everything in 47 and made ourselves from scratch. Call it our entrepreneurial spirit. Call it our emphasis on education. I see some semblance of the Jews and Parsis in us. Prospered due to our spirit and against all odds.

Not my fault Sindhi and Balochi feudals don't give importance to these values and prefer a life of decadence and rishwat khori. Their attitude trickles down to the common man in those provinces.

As far as Sindhi wadera’s or Punjabi feudals having the say over their lands, it is then our mistake to want to be called Pakistanis. Because at the end of the day if I am to call myself a Pakistani then that Sindi hari being treated like an animal by a waders isn’t a Sindhi problem, he is a Pakistani problem that requires my attention. Otherwise Im just some mixed heritage man living in Sindh, Karachi.. who happens to have a green passport. I am not Pakistani.

Though if we're being fair, 5 of the prime ministers/ presidents before Ayub were Bengali. Bengali people are way too nationalistic to be browbeaten into submission. Our leaders never realized this. We needed to use a little more carrot and a little less stick with them.

And that the issue is cyclic. I condoning or not caring for a hari or other victims of discrimination in Pakistan ultimately fuels and supports the same corrupt system that comes back to bite me in discriminations directed towards me. If we want any better then it has to be uprooted completely and utterly across the spectrum in its entirety, half measures will not be sufficient.

Very white saviour complex. The Sindhis and Balochis have some responsibility themselves. Karachi is filled with the sons of Sindhi bureaucrats and landlords, all foreign educated. Why don't they make the effort to better their people, their marsu marsu Sindh na desu holy land? Why should the onus fall on us just because we "might" be more educated? Muhajirs are barely making ends meet for themselves. Punjabis aren't living in a rose garden either. We don't owe anybody anything.

Go check Interior Sindh and their Life style , and compare them with Middle class Urdu speaking people .. Yes and not just to Sindhis , Urdu speaking people bring Civility to All of Pakistani's , no wonder most of ethnicity in Pakistan despite hating Urdu speaking people but go to extended lengths to marry their daughters to Urdu speaking guys .

First thing first, there is no such thing as an "Interior Sindh." Second, I have my roots in what you insinuate as "Interior Sindh." Yes, we have wadera culture problem that is sucking the blood out of us. But at the same time, I seen middle class and lower-middle-class Sindhi youth break through the haves-not chains. I know many people from interior Sindh who have completed their PhDs from both local and foreign universities, and I can bet that their intellect far exceeds that of any Urdu speaking academic. I have seen Sindhi students fill up classes in a rundown school and run in hoards towards libraries to prepare for exams. What are you doing? Riding bikes, spitting pan, calling Karachi "Karanchi", burning down factories, extorting from small businesses, hoarding weapons, conniving with RAW, etc? You have a "quota" victimization excuse for not getting government jobs but what about the private jobs? Why are you losing ground there to Sindhis, Pashtoons, Punjabis, etc?

(I have written the above with a heavy heart as I have Urdu speaking friends who are very dear to me).
