I don’t think Pak can do anything more for the Afghans. They should be fenced off and cut loose. In the little time I have read about them they are living in Pak and paying little tax, stealing electricity and yet they are organising anti-Pak terrorism in Kandahar etc.
The Iranian are more complex but then they have their own superiority delusion.
The irony is if the Uighur were an independent country they would probably be acting against Pak along with the Afghan/India alliance.
Well, we are awaiting regime change in Afghanistan and it will have deep repercussions throughout the region.
I agree, however, that we should follow the Iranian model and expel all Afghans living in Pakistan illegally.
We should also establish permanent fenced borders with both Afghanistan and Iran.
We should make the Indian border throughout its length from Kashmir down to Kutch as a permanent sealed border akin to North-South Korean border.
When I was in Pakistan before Musharraf expelled all foreign Islamic students, I met many Uyghurs in Lahore, Islamabad, and Raiwind. They struck me as a very kind and nice people, who genuinely loved Pakistan.
Uyghurs, like Turks, are dependable because they have not been tarnished by Soviet propaganda against us as many of the CARs have been, they also have no stake in Afghanistan against Pashtoons (who are our allies.)
Heard Dr. Israr quote that shair in one lecture. May Allah give him high rank in Jannah. Ameen.
Ameen. He dedicates is whole life to Islam and Pakistan.
He was one man who understood fully the ideology of Allama Iqbal and Quaid e Azam.
The fruits of his endeavors are only now being harvested by us, and no doubt, he will influence many more Pakistanis to fight for this nation.
